"Given the endurance of the global pandemic and the ongoing uncertainty of when we will safely be able to play shows again, we are officially cancelling our Australia tour in October. We won’t be rescheduling at this time, as the longevity of this situation remains unknown to us all. This is a huge bummer for us we’ve really loved our tours in Australia and were floored by the support on our last tour October 2018 but we are absolutely certain this is the right decision to make. Please: wear a mask and social distance. We will see you all on the other side!

15.01.2022 Hello friends. The inevitable cancellation of the @eilen_jewell tour. All tickets will be refunded. Pls be patient. Some beautiful words from Eilen to follow. Dear good folks of Australia and New Zealand, It saddens me to have to say this, but I simply can’t return to your beautiful countries this year after all. As many of you may know, our tour that was scheduled for March had to be postponed until November due to the global pandemic that has taken over life as we know it.... Now it happens that our November tour has to be cancelled as well. The world just doesn’t have a grip on this virus the way we all hoped we would by now. This pains me more than I can say. I worry for the future of independent venues, artists, agents and touring companies the world over. I worry about music lovers everywhere and my fellow humans in general. And, quite simply, I miss your lovely faces. I miss seeing you. But I know that, when the time is right and it’s safe to do so, we will make the journey to you, and the reunion will be that much sweeter after all this time apart. In the meantime, stay healthy, stay safe and try to keep your chin up. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Remember, we’re all in this together. Much love and gratitude, Eilen
12.01.2022 We are sad to announce the inevitable news that the incredible musical outfit known as Big Thief will not be touring next March as planned. The shows will not be rescheduled and refunds will be made available to ticket buyers from relevant venue or agency. Let’s hold on to hope for us all to get through all this safely, and rejoice when international live music can return to our shores. Adrianne Lenker from the band has an excellent solo album, Songs and Instrumentals, fresh out last month. Go listen to that and keep your spirits high.
10.01.2022 With great sadness we learnt today that our pal @justintownesearle has departed the physical world. This pic is of JTE looking out over Bondi on his first tour in November of 2008. At that point, the world appeared to be set for his taking. His excellent debut album was out and the newly forming Americana world embraced him heartily. He would go on to release seven more quality albums and grace our shores at least a dozen times more. There were huge highs, scintillating shows... and many deep, local friendships formed. He slayed ‘em from festivals to folk clubs, big rooms to dive bars. His talent was immense and his music and spirit shall live on inside all of us he touched. We send love and strength to his family and friends all over the planet. Thanks to everybody who ever came to a show, worked a tour, venue, festival or album and the awesome list of guests and opening acts that made the shows the treats they were. See more
