24.01.2022 For some fun adult wishes, read this series of letters to Santa :) It may come across as light hearted but many of these wishes would be rather good...

24.01.2022 Do your kids find it incredibly frustrating to not touch the elf in the house? My kids are very excited to be able to take our elves with us today as we got to a Christmas function!

24.01.2022 A new Santa emoji has been released - called Mx Claus, it is supposed to be gender neutral and comes in various skin tones. To me, it doesn't really say Santa - just an older person wearing a Santa hat! I support removing some gender assumptions and limitations, but given that Santa is one person then I think he can stay male and clearly recognised - just my opinion though :) Varied skin tones is all good :) Can't see Mx Santa in the Facebook emojis yet though!!!

23.01.2022 Adelaide is still looking at a Christmas pageant for 2020 (the only time they've missed a year was for World War II) but in a COVID-safe way. Would you go to a Christmas parade this year (assuming you normally would!) or will you give it a miss for this year? https://www.9news.com.au//8abf0e34-6a92-47a0-8d06-26b591cc

22.01.2022 2020 has been a huge year, full of unpleasant surprises and worries. Many of us are looking forward to Christmas to provide some cheer and relief, but how will we celebrate this year with COVID-19 restrictions still in place around the world? Have you made any alternative plans yet?

22.01.2022 How often do little children get excited about doing a 'big kid' job and then find they make a mistake? This little 'lift the flaps' book works on that premise, only the task is helping Santa! Read more in our Christmas book review... https://www.lovesanta.com.au//reindeer_lost-presents-chri/

22.01.2022 A Queensland town, Isisford, has been running a competition of Santa displays - there are Santas driving a tractor or a motorbike, pushing a pram , or sitting on a big fish! From the photos, it looks great - I'd love to visit or at least see more photos! The winner is announced tomorrow so maybe we'll see more photos then :) https://www.abc.net.au//santa-suit-competition-is/11817818

21.01.2022 It's unlikely I would have going to the Cambria Market in California anyway, so it being closed this year is not big news Down Under! But how gorgeous are those lights? More images at https://cambriachristmasmarket.com/, too.

21.01.2022 I love this door decoration of Santa! And it was cheap, lol!

20.01.2022 If you enjoy The Umbrella Academy (comics or the Netflix series), you may like to know that Cha-Cha and Hazel once helped save Christmas... https://screenrant.com/umbrella-academy-hazel-cha-cha-save/

19.01.2022 Will Santa find his Christmas charm in time to do his Christmas Eve deliveries? That is the big question in this delightful life the flaps book for young children. Why not read our review to find out more about this book? https://www.lovesanta.com.au//20/santas_charm_book_review/

19.01.2022 A cute start to the day - reading letters to Santa from grade 2 kids! Gabriel's letter is very sweet and I love how Samantha is 'going to be really good' tis year (ignoring that most of he year has gone!) Lucky Santa has a good imagination and knowledge of kids so he can interpret some of the spelling, lol! https://www.crestviewbulletin.com//antioch-san/6406833002/

18.01.2022 This lady has a LOT of Santas in her house! How amazing it would be to visit her house :) I love that she has a 'Christmas tree bedroom' - storage is an issue for most of us but she has embraced her Christmas collection. And kept a theme in that most (all?) of her Christmas decorations are black Santas.

18.01.2022 Trust South Park to turn things around and cast doubts on who is real (without any doubts about Santa though)!

17.01.2022 Mid August is too early for some to prepare for Christmas, but Lush is about to release its 2020 advent calendar! Only in the UK though - no sign of an Australian version (yet!) https://www.lancs.live//lush-set-release-advent-calendar-1

16.01.2022 What a lovely story - Sia helped an orphan feel loved by providing a letter and gifts from Santa. That is truly the Christmas and Santa spirit.

15.01.2022 I just love how people are finding fun ways to connect during this pandemic (which is making us physically distant). The latest movement is a series of Spoonville villages around the world to make people smile - it has certainly worked for me! Have you spotted any Spoony people in your area?

15.01.2022 These Grinch dolls are very cute and look so real! Not sure what I'd do with one, and at $300 I'm not about to find out, but they are cute!

14.01.2022 Any good at knitting (or willing to learn)? The you may enjoy making this little Santa outfit for a dog - yours or someone close to you who loves their dog (what a great gift idea!). If you give it a go, share your photos with us!

13.01.2022 How intriguing... there must be a reason someone left this photo (wrapped as a Christmas gift) beside a Santa display, but I don't know what it is! I wonder who the woman was and I hope she loved Christmas!

13.01.2022 It may not be Christmas, but teddy bears popping up in windows has the same spirit of love and giving. Walking around and spotting teddy bears is a happy experience, something akin to walking to see Christmas decorations and lights, don't you think? https://www.lovesanta.com.au//sharing-some-teddy-happiness/

13.01.2022 Great news for our WA friends hoping for a hoppy visit next week :)

11.01.2022 It appears that Tinkles and Ginger think the recent Christmas presents we received were for them - remote control cars yesterday and a board game today (before we have even played it ourselves!) If your elf played with your presents, what would they have been up to lately? https://www.lovesanta.com.au//2/aussie-christmas-scrabble/

11.01.2022 What a sweet couple - wherever they are in the world, they buy presents for kids in the local hospital which happens to be Canberra this year. https://www.canberratimes.com.au//santa-hoover-pitch-perf/

11.01.2022 Have you heard of Santa dollars? In the USA, some charities add a Santa sticker onto dollar bills. People pay a little more than a $1 for them, with the extra helping the charity, then the money can be used like a normal dollar as official currency! How cool would it be to get a Santa note at Christmas time!!

11.01.2022 Facebook is changing their standards to reduce hate speech - amongst other things, this means that anything depicting 'caricatures of people with blackface' which includes the Dutch Black Pete (Zwarte Piet). I wonder what impact the moves against Zwarte Piet will have on Christmas celebrations in The Netherlands?

11.01.2022 How awesome would it be to see this motorbike coming down the street with a waving Santa? I love that he has brought the bike out mid year to hep cheer people during COVID-19.

10.01.2022 Have rainbows been popping up in your area? It is lovely to see spots of colour and community spirit when I walk around my local area - another happy outcome of this pandemic. https://www.lovesanta.com.au//rainbows-make-the-world-smi/

09.01.2022 Christmas preparations and celebrations usually start in Manilla with the start of September, but as they are under COVID-19 restrictions, things are a little different this year. But it is nice this lady is thinking to protect Santa in her shop...

09.01.2022 Could Santa actually be a monster? Think of Pixar's Monsters Inc and a monster in a chimney... As a theory, this is fun!!

08.01.2022 A Queensland Santa helper is wondering how Christmas will be this year with social distancing... The impact of COVID-19 is likely to make itself felt this year.

07.01.2022 Even Disney is reducing their Christmas celebrations for 2020, thanks to the Corona virus. Sad, but at least we're not missing it given we can't (safely) travel over to the USA anyway this year! Have you been to Disney World during their Christmas celebrations in past years?

07.01.2022 Here's a cute story to brighten your day! A young boy wrote a story about Santa playing with his two favourite soccer teams - Jingle United being one

07.01.2022 Sometimes it's nice to try a new flavour and experiment a little, but other times, let's stick with what works! A company in Seattle produces Candy Canes of different flavours - like ketchup, mac and cheese and Shiitake mushrooms! Peppermint isn't my favourite flavour, but I prefer the idea of a minty candy cane to a mushroom candy cane! What do you think? https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com//ketchup-candy-ca/2524205/

07.01.2022 If you like The Nightmare before Christmas (or at least know it fairly well!), you may like seeing what type of person (under the Myers Briggs test) each character is.

07.01.2022 These are very cute chocolate Santas wearing a mask! I guess its not so easy to change the moulds quickly, otherwise many other Christmas treats this year would have a mask, too :) https://www.hindustantimes.com//story-kOuRKVZF4jFQYNFoPFb7

06.01.2022 Camp Christmas - sounds like fun! This was an event in Denver last year where people travelled some Christmas history and celebrated in an immersive art features. COVID-19 was stopping so it is going online - which may mean we, too, can access Camp Christmas! As their site provides more info, I'll keep you informed... #CampChristmas #ChristmasOnline #Christmas #Christmas2020 https://www.westword.com//camp-christmas-is-going-virtual-

05.01.2022 It is almost Christmas and our elves have made themselves a lovely looking morning tea! What have your elves eaten while in Australia this year?

05.01.2022 Here's one inventive way to manage Christmas functions while maintaining social distancing - a drive through event! People in Wrexham, UK, will be able to see Mrs Claus sorting Santa letters, unicorns and see reindeer in the sleigh house.

05.01.2022 Some cute Christmas themed Pops have been announced by Funko :)

04.01.2022 And they're off! Tinkles, Ginger and the Tooth Elf are lined up ready to race around the house this morning! What speedy escapade has your elf been up to lately?

04.01.2022 So Cadbury in the UK has released their Christmas 2020 range - and there are some yummy looking treats in there! Unfortunately, Cadbury Dairy Milk hasn't announced anything about our Christmas treats yet... What special flavour would you like to see in a Santa stocking or in a lolly dish this December?

03.01.2022 Australian borders remain open for Santa! https://www.abc.net.au//santa-claus-special-globa/12918338

02.01.2022 How cute - an orphaned wombat gets to sit on Santa's lap!

02.01.2022 A surprise Christmas party for a bride (whose wedding has been delayed by COVID) is just lovely. Mind you, all the decorations out in the sun looks normal to me!

01.01.2022 In case you were wondering, Kurt Russell really did sing in both Christmas Chronicles movies :) https://www.cheatsheet.com//kurt-russell-christmas-chroni/
