23.01.2022 SIX MONTHS >> Its been a wild ride! Cant believe this little miss has been with us for half a year already, how did that happen??? Theres been no shortage of ups and downs (whats sleep again?!) but we have loved getting to know you and youre funny little personality. Youre very noisy (from dad), eat lots (also dad) and never stop wriggling... I wish we could all be as excited as you are to jump out of bed in the morning! ... We love you Ruby girl

19.01.2022 Missing the gym so much this this time around... I was loving being back in my routine and having sessions each day to look forward to. If lockdown has taught me anything its that Im just never going to be a home workout person

19.01.2022 Trying to keep this in mind during lockdown 2.0... Theres so much pressure to use this time to smash out a whole heap of achievements, but maybe its totally fine to just be with those we love and slow down. If setting goals helps keep you happy then great, but for the rest of us, perhaps we need to resist the urge to stress ourselves out further by feeling like were falling short. This year isnt what any of us envisioned. For now, lets focus on taking care of ourselves and those around us and know thats enough. There will be plenty of time to get back on track when things return to normal.

10.01.2022 While I have loved seeing so many empowering photos of all the amazing women I am lucky to know filling on my social media feeds, I think its important to understand how this one started... sending so much love to strong women everywhere #Repost @businesschicks with @make_repost Weve loved seeing our feeds flooded by gorgeous black and white pictures of many of you, but do you know the origins of the black and white photo challenge?... This is Pnar Gultekin. She was reported missing in Turkey's Aegean province of Mugla on 16 July and found dead after being brutally murdered five days later. A man has been detained in relation to her killing. Pinar was just 27 years old. People in Turkey regularly see black and white images of women on the news, but they are pictures of women who have been violently murdered; the country has one of the highest rates of femicide in the world. The photo challenge circulating right now was in response to Pinars death. A way for Turkish women to stand in solidarity with those lost and shine a light on what is happening. This is much more than an opportunity to post a nice pic of you. Its much more than supporting other women by asking them to do the same. Social media can do so much good, but so often the intended impactful message is quickly lost its kinda like playing that game where you whisper something in someones ear and then they pass it on to someone else and so on, and the original message comes out the other end completely different. So post your photo, but do if for Pinar and all the other women, especially women of colour, who have been lost to violence. Thank you to @julesyparker for doing the work and finding the origin of this campaign. If you know more about its origins wed love to know too. #challengeaccepted #pnargultekin
