18.01.2022 In a weeks time, my next beautiful couple are tying the knot on a farm just outside Dalby, and incorporating the crops into their ceremony. So excited to see what they’ve come up with!

13.01.2022 It was #TeamHomer’s turn last Saturday! Ross and Sandi exchanged their vows under a shady tree at Tansey Hall, and included a ‘Circle of Love’ ritual as a beautiful way to include their two children in the ceremony. A drone captured the special moments from above, and the relaxed afternoon eventually rolled into dinner under the stars. What a day Mr and Mrs Homer! Hope you had a blast! ... Sandi-lee Homer

11.01.2022 My last little wedding for the year..... I wonder if anyone else realised the amazing tree this couple were married under looked like a giant, green heart!

09.01.2022 Great news Qld!

09.01.2022 A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of travelling a few hundred km’s (with roadie Dave) to marry Joe and Lexi at their family property near Mundubbera. Most people know I do love a home wedding - but this one was particularly special and rich in family heritage. Lelant was settled over 100 years ago and this was the very first wedding to take place on the property. Upon arriving, it was easy to see why Joe (a 4th generation to live there) and bride Lexi, wanted their special... day to be here. Lexi had even made a beautiful rose garden in their ceremony space. Joe’s grandmother Peggy (2nd generation) said a few lovely words at the beginning of the ceremony, and as Joe and Lexi exchanged their heartfelt vows to one another, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place for them to marry. Devoted to the land and mad keen campdrafters, you’d be hard pressed to find a more genuine and down to earth couple. Thank you for having us - and thank you for the absolute privilege of being able to conduct the first marriage at Lelant. May you both enjoy watching the 5th (even 6th!) generations love and appreciate your piece of paradise as much as you do x Lexi Payne Breathtaking photos below by the talented Niki Fitzgerald (Niki Fitzgerald Photography). 02.01.2022 ** RESTRICTIONS EXTENDED TO DARLING DOWNS REGION FROM MONDAY 31-08-2020 AT 8:00AM ** For my (very patient but no doubt very stressed) couples in the regions listed below - I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but please note the following... If you are still planning on holding your wedding at a private residence or outdoors and you ARE NOT employing a wedding coordinator/planner, then the new restrictions (from 8am tomorrow) state that instead of having 30 people allowed, we... will now be back down to 10 PEOPLE. (For my couples already booked into Covid Safe venues (or if you’re employing a wedding coordinator/planner), then at this stage you are still fine to have 100 people.)

01.01.2022 Dancing is returning to weddings! From November 1, up to 40 people can dance at weddings with a COVID Safe Plan, including the bride and groom. From Decemb...er 1, restrictions will be eased further so anyone attending a wedding with a COVID Safe Plan can get out on the dance floor and celebrate. At that time, we’ll look at whether we can also relax dancing restrictions at other venues and events. I know many couples have been looking forward to being able to dance with guests on their special day, and thanks to the amazing work Queenslanders have done to stay safe, dancing at weddings is on its way back. Remember, if you’re unwell, stay home and get tested.
