They also like to chase balls and absolutely destroy their dog toys (which is way better than a dog with an affinity for shoes).... Do you have furry friends that supervises while you work at home? 16.01.2022 Last Thursday in our Story Styling, Elise and Chloe talked through styling around the stomach area (jovially referred to as a mum tum). You can use a belt! Choose the height based on your body, but three fingers under the bust is generally flattering. Popping on a belt helps to create a beautiful hourglass shape. In dresses with a panel under the bust (such as our Carmen Midi), check the measurements so you get a great fit! With the bust panel sitting correctly, it crea...tes a lovely silhouette, with plenty of fabric below the panel to skim down your torso. With a dress such as our Peak styles, ensure that the top of the peak panel of fabric sits below the bust, so the skirt falls straight down to give you a beautiful silhouette. Choosing dresses with a more fitted bust and shoulders, and then a looser skirt, such as a tier dress. This stops you feeling like you're drowning in fabric, while making you feel comfortable and drawing attention away from your tummy. Pants with an elasticated waist (such as our Ella Culotte) can be worn on your hips or your waist, depending on your height and the shape of your body, to create shape and a flattering silhouette. And last, but not least, knotting t-shirts to the side can draw the attention away from your tummy. But comfort has to be a priority, because your body has enough to deal with already....
