20.01.2022 Whilst we may desire to, we ultimately cannot control the deeper dynamic cycles which are at work in our lives. Each of us can only respond to life in each moment, out of our current state of being and conscious awareness, with the internal resources we have at the time. So let's strengthen our selves, friends; and work to fortify our internal states, so that we can arm ourselves against adversity; and enable ourselves to rise above our own circumstances, and act from the space of truth we have developed inside. #authentic #healing #choices

19.01.2022 Everyone experiences pain and most suffer from patterns that continue to make life miserable unless something or someone intervenes. The pain we feel comes from... the cross-wise energies that keep curving back and cancelling the wise self and the good word that wait to be expressed from within us. Persistent pain is usually the indication that we have become trapped in a life too small for our true nature. That is the usual human fate and the common predicament where the little-self obscures the greater nature behind it. Until people realize what harms them and limits them from within, they are unlikely to call out for someone to help stop the pain. The remedy may be nearby, but until the pain becomes unbearable most remain caught in the agony of one form or another of self-inflicted wounds. - Michael Meade [From "Fate and Destiny"] Photo by Sarah Treanor

17.01.2022 COGNITIVE DISTORTIONS #1 One of our most common unhealthy thinking problems is polarized thinking, or "black and white" thinking. When we are stuck in this kind of distorted thought process, we experience life as a constant war. This cognitive distortion affects our ability to respond well to ordinary life situations and challenges. It is "all or nothing", "my way or the highway" thinking; without any negotiation. People experiencing this distortion are inflexible, find it di...fficult to compromise and may have problems understanding others opinions. They may feel alone, misunderstood or wounded. To combat this thinking habit, try "middle of the road" thinking. Live in the "grey area" for a moment, in between the black and the white. Try to open up more to others unique experiences and perspectives; and release the polarized judgments of your self and others. Try, for a period of time; to walk the "middle road". For maximum benefit, work on one Cognitive Distortion at a time. 14.01.2022 You really are worth it, you know you are. #selfconfidence #healing

12.01.2022 Our identities are 100% uniquely individual. This means that they are not based on gender, sexuality, race; political or religious belief and never have been. You are actually one of a kind, your self, amazing; a perfectly great and unique individual, wonderful; awesome, free and unlimited, unbounded; always changing and fully non identifiable. Feel the freedom of knowing there is no-one else quite like you. #healing #choices

10.01.2022 Healing can happen in any moment if we can allow it. It starts with a commitment to being your authentic self. #healingjourney #choices

04.01.2022 We need to work every day to strengthen our mental health. Some ways we can do this are to balance mind and body, align with our own personal values and declutter our lives; including old relationships, baggage, burdens, outgrown roles and habits that do not serve us. #authentic #healing #choices
