23.01.2022 Re-use & minimise unnecessary waste Ive been collecting the rubber bands from my veggies for a few months now and look at this stash. Every time I grab a bunch of kale, asparagus, broccolini, shallots or radish, there is always 1-2 elastic bands on each bunch. This adds up very quickly as you can see, and this is just one household of two for a few months. Do you save and reuse your rubber bands? 15.01.2022 Loving this rainbow of veg When your plate looks this good you cant help but smile Dukkah crumbed organic chicken thigh with roasted sweet potato, carrot & pumpkin, beetroot, and a leafy green spinach & rocket salad with capsicum & grated carrot. Drizzled with balsamic vinegar for a little zing! Today I loved meeting with new and old clients and supporting them with their health and nutrition goals. I find this work so rewarding and love hearing about little wins and positive changes they are making along the way. 15.01.2022 Today I went grocery shopping, and saw this elderly man, probably at least 84 years old, with an empty trolley staring at empty shelves of bread. My heart broke.... I had gotten the last two hot dog bun packs and gave him one out of my trolley, I said At least its still bread and he laughed and thanked me (I felt that was the least I could have done for him) If you see an old person, please stop and ask if they need anything. Stop and give them something from your trolley that is no longer on the shelves that you could easily come back and get tomorrow. Who knows where they came from or how long it took them to get to the shops, only to get there and find empty shelves. In a time of complete and utter maddens and chaos, please dont forget to look out for each other and look out for those who need it most. Check up on your elderly neighbour or friend or elderly stranger on the street. Dont be consumed by greed. Love thy neighbour. See more

14.01.2022 Australians are consuming less than 1 teaspoon of olive oil per day. That's despite a large evidence base that suggests having 25-50ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oil... (EVOO) a day is associated with health benefits, in particular for cholesterol and blood pressure health. Our recommendation? Tip: When you get home from the farmers market or grocery store, get everything out on the bench and wash, cut and container it straight away to make meal prep easier for the week ahead.
