16.01.2022 This moment! When you’re with a team that share the impact and positive changes since the last professional learning workshop. The fab team at Loving Hearts Ch...ild Care and Kindergarten in Currumbin Valley, have been rethinking Behaviour... and the habitual language we use with children. This has been an incredible start to the year for our team to work together to be mindful of our relationships with children and how we effect their world Kim, Educational Leader. It’s such an honour and joy to work with passionate Early Childhood teams that are taking on professional learning to be reflective practitioners.

10.01.2022 Thank you so much for the overwhelming support and kindness towards our fundraising for Micah, Bec, Ralf and Macy. Micah received an exciting delivery last night from the Loving Hearts team. He is headed into surgery again today and has taken 2 dinosaurs for company. With such a long road ahead it is an amazing time to be reminded of how a community can come together for others. Close friends and complete strangers have donated. Thank you so very much. gf.me/u/zm38nt

The whole family have had to be rushed to Brisbane as Micah commences treatment as he fights this battle he will win. We have launched a go fund me to raise money to support Micah, Bec, Ralf and Macy. We would appreciate any donations and sharing. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-micah-fight-and-beat-leukem

02.01.2022 Today is World Down Syndrome Day. Are you wearing mismatched colourful socks? Why March 21st? The date symbolises the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome. ... Why socks? The chromosomes are shaped like socks and people with Down Syndrome are born with an extra copy of a chromosome. Tomorrow at Loving Hearts we will be celebrating this day and we encourage you to wear your colourful socks #worlddownsyndromeday
