With between 3-30% of people suffering chronic constipation!!! What you can do to alleviate constipation is to ensure adequate daily exercise, water and fibre intake. Consume fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds and whole grains on a daily basis and drink at least 1 litre of water. If you are still having troubles be wary of over using laxatives... as you can get rebound constipation and may cause a lazy bowel in long term use.
