25.01.2022 Another quick video from Dr Westman . What about fruits and vegetables on low carb? Non starchy vegetables good but no need for fruit . If you want fruit berries/grapefruit. Plenty of vit C, fibre and micronutrients in vegetables. Fruits not essential for good health.

14.01.2022 It is not just what you eat but WHEN you eat that counts for metabolic health and lower body weight. Try eating all your food within 8 hours and then fasting the rest of the time.eg start eating at 11am and last meal finished by 7 pm. eating low carb makes this process much easier as you are not hungry.
13.01.2022 Type 2 diabetes does not have to be a chronic progressive disease. STOP it in its tracks by limiting the "white stuff" (sugars and starches) in your diet. It is a disease of carbohydrate intolerance. Stop the carbs and the disease goes away. Just like people with coeliac disease can stop the gluten and reverse their disease. Its that simple. NO DRUGS needed. IF it is later in the disease you can still halt its progress and medications can be stopped or at least drug doses reduced. For example 140 units of insulin stopped in 48 hours by a patient of mine recently. Now only on metformin. HBAIC 5.2%...SO EASY.

Here in Port macquarie it costs $200 at Lord St XR.If you are 40-50 or over its a good idea to get one. Especially if you are on a statin. If your score is zero then there is no reason to be taking it.
