Th...is is likely to result in moderate to MAJOR flooding at North Richmond and Windsor. NORTH RICHMOND - The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond is expected to exceed the MAJOR flood level of 10.5m Sunday evening, with rises to 12.0m early Monday morning. Further rises possible. WINDSOR - The Hawkesbury River at Windsor is likely to reach around 10.0m Monday morning, with moderate flooding. Further rises possible. SACKVILLE - The Hawkesbury River at Sackville may reach around 6.5m early Monday afternoon, with minor flooding. RMS and Council are monitoring the situations and will act accordingly. Moderate to heavy rainfall has been recorded across the Hawkesbury and N...epean Catchments since Thursday. Rainfall is expected to intensify over the next 24 hours. Hawkesbury River The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond (WPS) is currently at 4.2metres and rising. The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond (WPS) may reach the moderate flood level (7.90 m) Sunday evening with forecast rainfall. Yarramundi bridge is getting very close to being closed. The rails are down and an RMS crew is on standby. The Hawkesbury River at Windsor (WPS) is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.80 m) Sunday evening. Further rises to the moderate flood level are possible with forecast rainfall. The Hawkesbury River at Sackville may reach the minor flood level (4.60 m) early Monday with forecast rainfall. Colo River: Minor flooding is likely along the Colo River. The Colo River at Putty Road is likely to exceed the minor flood level (2.70 m) around 07:00 am Sunday. Further rises to the moderate flood level are possible with forecast rainfall. Macdonald River A Flood Watch is current for the Mcdonald River. Further rises to the moderate flood levels are possible depending on how much more rain falls associated with the Coastal Trough over the next 24 to 48 hours.

The warning area covers all properties backing onto Rickaby’s Creek along Carrington Road from Bowman Road to Bennett Rd, and along Bennett to Blacktown Road. Residents should monitor the situation and be prepared to evacuate when instructed to do so. An Evacuation Order will be issued by the NSW SES if evacuation is required. MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUES ALONG THE HAWKESBURY The Hawkesbury River at North Richmond (WPS) is currently at 13.11 metres and STEADY with major flooding. 03.01.2022 Just took a drive from settlers road (near walmsley) and got down to the dirt road. Couldn't go much further than the entrance to the national park (shepherd's ...gully?). The rain water drainage areas are a moving very quickly and about 0.5m deep. This is the water near 707 settlers and a few pics we took along the way. See more

03.01.2022 Really really bad trenches across settlers Rd...dozens of them. Some you have to really pick your way through. I turned back at violets gully as I thought there was too much over Rd for my forester. Half way up my gum boots & not even the deepest part.
