25.01.2022 WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #8 It's easy whilst moving houses that you can forget all the little things. Here are a couple of changes you may need to make that may just skip your mind: - Ensure you change your home and contents insurance to your new home address - Make Queensland transport aware of your new address as they will need to send you another license with your correct changed address on it. This goes the same for car registrations and insurance companies. - If needed, schedu...le a time for Foxtel or any other companies to come in and install in your new home - Mail catalogues, energy and water bill companies, schools, electoral office and any medical centres need to be aware of your new address so your mail can be redirected to your new home - Measure certain parts of your new home in relation to your furniture and where your furniture will fit? Especially the white goods. - Put all essential items in one bag/box so you know where they are, they do not get mixed up and they can be accessed easily. - Cancel any subscriptions to your old address and start again or renew to your new address - When moving plant pots try to remember not to water them for about 2-3 days as the last thing you want is your plants being freshly watered and them leaking into your furniture while in our vehicles - Don't forget to BREATH and remember you can ask for any advice or answers on 5554 5555 See more

23.01.2022 The boys got a little surprise this morning when they got into their truck. Should we go the extra mile and get the deer antlers and red nose?

22.01.2022 WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #5 This weeks removal tip is more of a reminder, a reminder to ask your chosen removalist if they have all the necessary safety equipment on their vehicles. - Removal pads (used to pack, shield and give extra padding to fragile goods) - Removal Trolleys (to carry multiple boxes or heavy items without needing two men and wasting time for the customer)... - Removal Ties (to tie goods to the side of the truck eg. Beds, paintings, fragiles. To ensure they don't move while the truck is in transit) - Removal Skate (used for heavy items that may be a little too big for a trolley) - Piano Trolley (Almost like a skate, however this trolley is designed to hold the weight of the piano) - Coverings (used to wrap chairs, pictures, etc to give extra protection too) To ensure the safety of all goods, make sure your removalist has all the equipment to ensure your removal goes as smoothly and as safely as possible!

22.01.2022 WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #3 Have you got fragiles packed in boxes? To ensure your removalists are aware of your conents of the boxes write 'FRAGILE' on each side of the box to ensure they know which boxes to take that extra care with and which ones to put at the top of the stack (you don't want a box of books on top of a box of breakables). Before packing your breakables you can put a beach towel on the bottom of the box and one on top of the breakables once you're fished packing the box. This just gives that little extra room to keep your goods safe.

18.01.2022 WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #6 When booking a removalist always do your research to make sure: - They are a quality company - Have trained staff (not backpackers)... - Their trucks are road worthy so as not to get the phone call on the morning on removal 'Sorry, our trucks broken down'. Your removalist must be equipped with professional removal pads, soft ties as rope burns furniture, trolleys e.g.. Fridge trolley, piano trolley (if required). But last but not least ensure the company of your choice has intransit insurance. Thich covers fire, rollover or collision - covering your goods to market value. If you possibly can go to their depot, if they have one, meet the owner and feel confident in who is coming to your home on day of removal.

14.01.2022 WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #7 Are you moving out of a high-rise that has a basement? When moving out of a high-rise there is a very good chance that your removalist will not be allowed to go through the main entrance or the Lobby, therefore they must access the lift from the basement and to the basement. The pan tech of the truck (the part that holds your goods) is too high to be able to fit through to the basement (being approx. 2m - 2 .5m high) meaning the truck must be parked so...mewhere out the front of the building (find out from the building manager to see where they prefer). This also means the removalist men must carry/wheel the furniture/trolley all the way to the truck resulting in you having to pay for them to walk back to the elevator with nothing in their hands. We like to offer an economical way of doing things so you aren't having to pay your removalist to just walk. A tray back utility can be provided to make things easier and less expensive. The ute will let the boys unload into the tray, drive it to the truck and unload straight away. This ensures less time is spent walking and your removal is done quicker and more efficiently. This proving that Lowest Price Removals are doing things a little differently and more economically for our clients. See more

13.01.2022 We would like to give a big Thankyou to Mat from Bliss Tech Support for his massive and generous help getting our emails back on track. As soon as he heard we were having issues he was happy to help out as much as he could and until the problem was solved. We very much appreciate it! If anybody needs IT work do not hesitate to call Mat as his service is exceptional!

13.01.2022 Removal Tip #10 When do I need to turn off my fridge? Most fridges now are frost free which means you can unpack all your goods out of the fridge and into a esky or bag just before our experienced men take your fridge onto the truck. The fridge is one of the last things to be put into a truck so our men will advise your when to start packing it up therefore you do not spoil any food. ... If putting your fridge into storage put a tea bag into the freezer and fridge sections. This odd tip keeps the fridge fresh and deodorises any smell that may be left around by previous food. Our removalists will always keep fridge doors open when put into storage to ensure the smell isn't trapped in the fridge and can ensure you do not have to deal with a smelly fridge once moved into your new clean house. 12.01.2022 REMOVAL TIP #9 Are you busy and have no time to pack your goods before your fast approaching removal date? Pre-packing is available, where two of our experienced team members come into your home, usually the day before your removal date, and pre pack all your linen, kitchenware, fragiles etc. We can pack as much as you like or as little as you like, it's completely up to you. We bring our own butchers paper, which means you don't need to wash your goods once unpacked. We a...lso have our own removal cartons (standards and book and wine) and removal tape. Our team is experienced in pre packing your goods and knowing which ways and angles to put your breakables to insure no damage comes to them whilst on the moving removal vehicle and roads. *Go to Removal Tip #4 to see one of the examples* Please don't hesitate to contact me on 5554 5555 for any further information or if you would like us to pre pack your home.

12.01.2022 It's out of the box, LITERALLY! Brand new logo uniforms modelled by some of our experienced and hardworking team members!

12.01.2022 Just met Adam Morrison who won our Status Share competition for the 2x Gold Class Tickets! Thanks for coming in and meeting us and picking up your prize! Anyone need any Pest control, Termite inspections or Rodents baiting, Adams business card is picture below! Happy to recommend!

11.01.2022 Lowest Price Removals continues to move forward with our constant calls for quotes and bookings, the arrivals of our business cards and new signage and fresh look on our first truck by who we would consider the best signwriter and friend 'Alan Warren Signwriting'. Keep your eye out for the Removal truck with the Lowest Price tag!

10.01.2022 WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #2 When packing your crockery, dinner plates and sets or porcelain try NOT to use news paper. You will find that most of the time you will unwrap your goods to find the ink smeared on your fragile items. In this situation we recommend White Butchers Paper to ensure your items come out with no unwanted ink colours and saves you another job of washing dishes after a long day. We sell butchers paper here at our depot at 14 Taree Street, Burleigh Heads. Pop in and get some today!

10.01.2022 Everyone knows moving can be a little stressful sometimes thats why we try to take some of the stress away for you and every week we are going to post a helpful REMOVAL TIP to help you save some money and some stress! Keep a look out for the weekly tips! Any other questions just call me on 5554 5555! WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #1 Hair dryers, toasters, kettles or any small appliances pack them in a *removal carton* to avoid your removalist men doing small loads and taking up time you...'re paying for! Rather than holding two or three small items they could be trolleying AT LEAST 2 boxes FULL of appliances! *Also remember to empty water out of your kettle and iron to ensure your boxes don't get wet and damaged!* Save time and save MONEY! Don't have any cartons? Come down to our depot at 14 Taree Street, Burleigh Heads we have all your packaging needs!

10.01.2022 **COMPETITION TIME** Everyone watch this space! We've got another competition coming up with a 'bang-up' prize. You WON'T want to miss your chance to win! Keep your eyes peeled!

08.01.2022 WEEKLY REMOVAL TIP #4 Packing your boxes! When packing your boxes with breakables especially plates DO NOT lay them horizontally, lay them vertically (see pictures below). The reason for this is that if the removal vehicle were to go over an unavoidable bump or pot hole in the road you may shatter your plates. Vibrations go upwards, so if your bottom plate cracks or shatters so will a few of the plates you've stacked on top. So to avoid this happening stack them on their 'si...des'. As you can see I have also utilised part of the Removal Tip #3 by folding a towel and placing it at the bottom of the box to just add that extra cushioning. *To make the images understandable these plates have not been properly packing with packaging paper*
