20.01.2022 Two poombas waiting patiently for their turn to create some excitement. Only a few weeks to go now! The other calves are pretty keen to meet the new kid on the block.
18.01.2022 Try find our calves now they say. Fun times ahead for me! It's much easier if I find and tag newborns but when it's hard to spot the cows...the little bubs are going to be a real challenge.
15.01.2022 Talking about little fat black things, I was delighted to find this young cassowary this morning. The old fellow died after the 2017 fires. Note the dead trees and predominantly weeds being the green that has returned where the rainforest was. I really hope this one gets to live a long and healthy life. National Parks need to be managed better to protect the flora and fauna within.
