20.01.2022 As you've probably heard by now we came up short in our A Grade Grand final against Berri on the weekend. It was still a great experience for our younger players, and we definitely made a very good account of ourselves. We bowled Berri out for 115 on a pretty flat deck, with some pretty solid bowling. Luke Zdanowicz led the way 3/24(7.2), Ben Hoffmann 2/14(5), Llayton Biele 2/17(4), Lynchy 1/9(8), Vikas Patel 1/16(8), Jake Durdin 1/34(6). Tyler Hobby kept excellently with 0... byes, 4 catches and a stumping. In reply, we lost Tim Tol run out early, but Tyler Hobby and Luke Zdanowicz out on 23 before Tyler went for 15. Ben Hoffmann got going well, but wickets started falling at the other end, losing Luke (8), Jake Durdin (2), Biele(2). We got through drinks and Lynchy and Hoffy were going along nicely with the score at 5/74, but unfortunatley Hoffy went for a Galant 43, and we then lost 4/4 with Lynch (5), James bergamin (0), and Vikas Patel (0) going in quick succession. Travis O'shaughnessy battled hard with Young Daniel Zdanowicz, with the pair putting on 18 for the last wicket before Trav O went for 16, leaving us on 94. Its a solid effort to make a grand final with a developing side, and to take it up to Berri, who we haven't beaten in a long time. It certainly announce to the competition that things have changed and the Tigers will be a force to reckon with next year! See more

20.01.2022 Had to write on the new cricket banner...didn’t put anything down to protect the table cloth. Not popular this morning.

20.01.2022 Big day tomorrow as we take on Berri in the A Grade Grand Final. We’ve seen great growth in our younger players this year which has got us where we are. Come and make some noise at the Berri Oval from 1pm. Anything can happen in a final.

16.01.2022 World Cup Champion Megan Schutt made this video for us before heading up to Brisbane to help the Aussies beat New Zealand! Like she says, there is plenty of room at the Loxton Cricket Club for people of all ages to get involved with cricket at one of the best facilities in the state this summer!!

12.01.2022 Hi All, Does anyone have a big old fridge/freezer they don't want that they could donate to the club? We are about to move all our gear back into one of the bunkers in the stadium, and it has power so we thought it would be good if we had one in there we could keep frozen stuff and drinks in. Doesn't matter if its ancient and power hungry.

07.01.2022 This week we hosted the SA vs ACT veterans cricket games for three days. Over 60’s and over 70’s teams. They had a great time and loved the facilities. Big thanks to Mick Durdin for organizing lunches and drinks each day, and Cheif Pont and Josh Norman for the extra work in getting the pitches up.
