19.01.2022 BUSHFIRE RELIEF AFTERNOON TEA Where do I even begin, there are so many people who need thanking for today. Without the generosity of our local community, in...dividuals and businesses, I could never have pulled off an event like this. I will share the businesses involved in the coming days once I have finish collating the list but for now there are a few outstanding people to thank: Loxton North Sports Club the venue was perfection, Mitch & Michelle were a dream to work with. Highly recommend popping out and supporting them across the bar or with their Friday night dinners. Phoenix Mountain Australia Karen Spilsbury - 0407 760 892 CS Accounting Rachel, Karen & Catarina - you were all incredibly inspiring and interesting guest speakers. I cannot thank you enough for trusting me to be a part of this day and contribute to the vision for the event. My beautiful family, Mum & sisters for helping me pull everything together in today’s set up! Nonna & Nonno's Bakehouse and Tripl3 Thr33 Lounge for the deliciously authentic Italian and Greek sweets on our dessert table. I blinked and missed out on trying a cannoli and baklava - they were that popular!! Now for the big drumroll of exactly how much we raised..... $4495.10!!! Once the funds from the online ticket sales clear in my account I will transfer it all across to the Kangaroo Island Mayoral Fund as promised! And to be totally honest my OCD will kick in and round it up to a clean $4500. Thank you all once again! Stay tuned for tomorrow when I will share a total list of all the businesses who donated so that credit is given where credit is due. Tess p.s if you attended today please tag me in your photos and stories - I would love to see them!

16.01.2022 This community blows me away time and time again with their generous spirit. I’ve had quite a few messages coming through this week from both businesses and ind...ividuals asking how they can help contribute to the event. Rather than door-knocking and putting people on the spot I thought I would list some suggestions below. That way if there is anything you can help with you can feel free to message me or pop in store! Thank you again to everyone involved, another post will come later listing everyone to give them the recognition they deserve. Tess x Ways you can contribute to the event: 1. Donation for a raffle prize. With tickets now sold out I will be utilising a raffle draw to raise even more funds to donate! 2. Gift bags - we have 120 gift bags to give out on the day. (Originally I had planned for 50 ). If any businesses have small samples or gift vouchers they would like to print out and donate just get in touch with me! 3. Catering - money or gift vouchers to buy food for the day. Or food itself! I am self catering the day to keep costs as low as possible so here is an easy way to contribute! P.S Incase you were wondering WHERE the money raised is being donated I thought I would share why I haven’t specified that yet - for the simple reason that I wanted to do due research into exactly WHERE it will be best used to help! I have made the decision we will be keeping it within South Australia (as this is our home state and I know so many people all across it have been affected). Kangaroo Island WILL be receiving a donation, however once I know the final figure raised I am hoping I can split it amongst multiple SA charities and help share the love as much as possible! x x

07.01.2022 Hello fellow Past Players. WE ARE BACK!!! This year’s Past Players Golf Day has been moved to Friday the 25th September due to COVID. It is also the 20th annive...rsary of the 2000 Premiership Team. This year will be a little different as we are allowing any current Senior players to get a group together and join in. (They are not eligible to win the day and get their name on the trophy) Format for the day. Start 1.30pm Finish in Club House for a Burger and drinks Then onto the Loxton North Sports Club to watch a reply of the 2000 GF. While reading, mark it down in your Calendar. IMPORTANT: Please text me on 0407729842 as we need to know groups and how many are playing due to COVID-19 and for catering for the day. Regards Craig Wooldridge

03.01.2022 SOLD OUT Oh my gosh guys you did it and I can’t put into words how thankful I am! The Bushfire Relief Afternoon Tea is sold out. HOWEVER there are some impor...tant things to note: 1. If you have put a ticket/table aside but still need to pay for it you can now only do so with CASH via Frankie & Dandelion Loxton or Renmark. Due to the high demand for tickets I have taken them down from the online link so that we don’t go over capacity. 2. I will only be holding unpaid tickets for THIS WEEK ONLY. We now have a waiting list of people who would like to come, it is a charity event so it’s only fair that all tickets are paid for before the day to help me maximise the amount of funds raised! I will send out further reminders later this week. 3. If you have missed out get in touch with me and I can add you to the list if we have any more spaces open up. I am so proud of this community and the generosity within it!
