22.01.2022 We have some exciting news! Six Foot Four Productions along with the Loxton Amateur Basketball Association is producing a documentary about the club's 70 years ...of rich history. The project has been funded by Regional Arts Australia Country Arts SA and the District Council of Loxton Waikerie. If you have any videos or photos of games etc, please reach out to us as it will be a huge help to the project.

14.01.2022 Our new documentary will be premiering on 27th March as part of the LABA 70th Anniversary Celebration! In 1949 a single photo in an American sports magazine in...spired a group of Loxton locals to try and figure out the rules to basketball. From these humble beginnings, the Loxton Amateur Basketball Association was formed and is now celebrating its 70th anniversary with the opening of a new sporting complex and also a nail-biting grand final victory. Produced by Six Foot Four Productions with funding from the Regional Arts Australia, Country Arts SA, and the District Council of Loxton Waikerie.

14.01.2022 Riverland Basketball Association Div 1 womens action from Renmark Stadium between Renmark Basketball Club v Loxton Amateur Basketball Association. Loxton jumped... out of the blocks in the first half to set up a nice buffer lead with Renmark having lots of shots that just did not fall. A great third quarter saw Renmark narrow the gap to 11 at one stage but Loxton Rallied and had a good last quarter to run out winners, 61 - 36 See more

11.01.2022 Welcome everyone to another Riverland Representative Carnival season. Registration Day and first training will be held Sunday 11th October at Berri Stadium. Yo...u must be representing your town in Thursday/Friday night basketball to be able to play carnivals. All clubs have been sent the registration form. We do prefer pre registration but it will be available on the day or I can email to you. Text me with your email. 1pm-2pm U12 Boys and Girls 2:15pm-3:15pm U14 Boys and Girls 3:30pm-4:30pm U16/U18 Boys and Girls There is a 15 minute gap between to allow for sanitising. Please wait outside until your time slot starts. Registration table will be set up outside. All trialling need to bring their own ball (for sanitary purposes) We are still looking for coaches for U16 Boys U18 Boys U18 Girls Please let me know if you may be interested.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to our juniors who played over the weekend! Thank you to the parents who helped out either COVID Marshalling, timing or scoring your help is much appreciated! Here are a few statistics: ... 29 games were played on Saturday 15 games were played on Sunday = 44 games played in Loxton We also had to fill all those games with umpires, but couldn’t do it by ourselves. Thank you to those umpires from Renmark and Barmera who helped us for a few games! We had grades playing up to 4 rounds (round 5 to 8) which means they would have played 2 or more games in a day, a big effort! Thank you to the players, coaches and team managers for a successful weekend!
