24.01.2022 Our next junior round robin is this Saturday and thankfully the weather looks much nicer than last weekend’s but it seems some of our juniors might be playing footy at the same time. If this is your child, can you either comment on this post or PM us so we can ensure we have the right number of coaches and umpires. Thank you!
24.01.2022 *** Please note this event has now been postponed ***
24.01.2022 Whale run anyone?

21.01.2022 This looks like a great way to stay netball fit in the coming weeks
20.01.2022 COVID-19 & LNNC SPECIFIC UPDATE Please see the attached letter from RNA President (our very own Jess Miller). What to take from this as a LNNC member...... trials are still on - tomorrow night U13s and B/C grade Seniors trialling the same time as last week. U15s & U17s will not be trialling until Thursday night as informed at the first trial last Thursday. if you are feeling unwell, please do not come out to trials and send through your apology to Sue Schultz Please bring your own and do not share water bottles Umpires, please bring your own and do not share whistles Please ensure you wash your hands after handling balls, bibs and any other equipment used We will keep you up to date with any future information received from Netball SA & RNA.
18.01.2022 Netball SA has received SA Govt approval for their plan to get netballers back on the court. This is exciting news for all South Australian players! We now await further direction from our central body - the Riverland Netball Association, as to what the 2020 season might look like locally. As many of you have read, the penciled in return to play date of 8 June is contingent on no spectators which is problematic for country clubs.... We will continue to keep you informed as we learn more
16.01.2022 AGM A friendly reminder the LNNC AGM is being held next Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Loxton North Sports Club. Come along and be in the know for our 2021 season. We hope to see you there! Apologies to Sue Schultz - 0428 876 511
15.01.2022 Please see this advice from the Riverland Netball Association tonight regarding the 2020 Season. The LNNC would like to take this opportunity to thank the RNA for all their work and careful consideration of the many factors at play in making this decision. They are to be commended for putting the health and welfare of players, clubs and our communities first during these uncertain times.... We look forward to being back better and stronger than ever in 2021! Go North!!
15.01.2022 With the COVID-19 cases in SA thankfully remaining low, our committee is considering starting up some training and scratch matches for our junior grades (U13-17s) at this time to see us out for the winter but before we throw ourselves into planning,we want to see what sort of interest there is for these sessions and, knowing numbers, how we can make them work under the COVID-Safe protocols that are in place. We're probably looking at running them on Saturdays at this stage. The LNNC Committee is meeting next Tuesday to discuss the best format so now is your chance to tell us if you'd like to see this happen...
15.01.2022 An update from the RNA
15.01.2022 Another great day for some netball out at Loxton North! Today was the last of our Round Robin games for junior players. It was great to see so many girls enjoying a game. We had many of our LN players out on the court and welcomed players from both the Loxton and Berri Netball Clubs.... We want to thank all our coaches - Liza Gibbs, Jocelyn Vowles, Renee Williams, Kerri Hutchinson, Abby Pavlich and Ilze Braddock for helping organise the girls over the past three weekends. To our umpires for volunteering your time - we also say thank you! The LNNC has some of the most qualified umpires in the Riverland and it was great to see you all out supporting our juniors. Also a big thank you to Ben and Jessie Miller for donating an esky full of drinks to finish off today with Girls, we hope you had lots of fun and look forward to seeing you play in 2021! Parents, don’t forget our AGM is coming up Watch this space for news on next season’s start!

12.01.2022 The Loxton North Netball Club Committee would like to advise that our 2020 AGM is scheduled for Tuesday 27 October at the Loxton North Sports Club at 7.00pm. All welcome! We look forward to seeing many new faces!!
09.01.2022 Last night all of our LNNC members were emailed a letter along with a link to a survey to tell us your thoughts about the 2020 Season. If you haven't already, please check your emails and complete the survey. Survey will be closed 9am Saturday as our committee will be meeting again later that day to discuss your feedback.... Thank you all for your patience as we work together to ensure the best measures are in place to protect our players, our volunteers, our spectators and our netball club.
05.01.2022 Did you register yet? First sessions are this week and we need to know numbers to ensure we have the right number of coaches and umpires available. Commonly asked questions ... Why do I have to register? All Riverland club players were deregistered by Netball SA when the 2020 season was cancelled. To ensure you are covered by insurance in the event of an injury, Netball SA is allowing us to reregister players for FREE for the purpose of training and practice matches. Can I come and play if I’m not a Loxton North member? Yes you can. We love our netball and just want to give players who feel the same a chance to play a few games this year. The registration is with Netball SA not Loxton North. What do I do if I can only play some sessions but not all? Just register and them let us know via the comments here or via PM so our coordinators know which ones you can attend. Can I register on the day? You can. We’ll have a laptop available as you need to be registered with Netball SA to take the court but we still need to know you’re coming out to play so we’re not short of umpires and coaches. If you have any other questions, ask them here or sent us a message
01.01.2022 Missing netball? It's time we had a bit of fun this season! The LNNC is holding some round robin games of netball so you can get back on the court, catch up with your friends and play the game we all love.... Juniors (U13/15/17s) - Saturday lunchtime Seniors (B/C grades) - Thursday night See the flyer for dates and times. What to bring - yourself, a drink bottle, a friend! What to wear - sports clothes and netball shoes or maybe your LNNC training shirt if you have one How it will run - we'll start with a combined warm up and a few practice drills then seniors and U15/17s will play 4 quarters of netball. Depending on numbers, our U13s will play 6 shorter quarters so everyone gets to play a full game of netball. COVID Safe protocols will be in place To play - you will need to register to be covered by insurance. This is FREE.
