11.01.2022 I only spent two days in Bruges, but I remember it being a stunning small town which is only an hour away on the train from Brussels. It’s filled with quaint houses, cobbled streets & picturesque canals which are a close second to the beer, waffles and chocolates. In Belgium they have over 1500 beers, every beer has to have its own special glass which is carefully selected by the brewer beers. I would highly recommend visiting for a couple of nights. Lastly, it’s home to the film ‘In Bruges’ where you can visit many of the filmed locations.
09.01.2022 A city world famous for its wine and I’m proud to say I found a bottle of red wine in a supermarket for 1. The 18th century architecture isn’t too bad either.
08.01.2022 An eerie & surreal experience visiting the beaches of Normandy & the memorial sites which honours all the troops who died during WW2.
06.01.2022 Back in 2014, I started my travels in Europe. Where I took the Eurostar from London to Brussels, which I think took around 2 hours. I only spent a night in Brussels, from what I saw it’s a very pretty city with some amazing architecture, a lot of history and super lit chocolate, beer & waffles. A few photos of The Grand Place, which is the historic center of Brussels.
