08.01.2022 What a massive year it’s been! I’m so grateful for the challenges that have been brought forth to help me grow and align with my path During this last half of year my creative passion took a shift in the direction of tattooing which came after re-connecting with my cultural heritage whilst on honeymoon in Rarotonga (Cook Islands).Thus this direction made sense to me on both a creative and spiritual level. Though I can’t say that I have officially achieved entering this f...ield as yet, I am really grateful for the opportunities that have already presented themselves and I feel that my creative energy will continue to move in this direction for 2020. I look forward to being able to literally vibrate positive creative energy into others so that I may be able help them feel awesome in their skin! Whoop!! Happy New Years folks!! 01.01.2022 ‘A Hero’s In Sight’ This piece characterises the hero’s journey inward and plays on the notion that believing is seeing rather than seeing is believing. Within this surrealist style composition (which aims to merge inner and outer worlds), I have used the heroic 90’s comic Captain planet as a metaphor for our higher selves. Just as in the story, when the planeteers powers are combined they create captain planet, when we align ourselves with our values, we become our own hero. It evokes a sense of magic that comes from our power to create as human beings. Thus, if we are to create the dream of peace and healing for our earth and our world then we must first believe and feel it within ourselves. .
