25.01.2022 Made friends for life through LPPT And for that, I’m forever grateful. Do the people around you make you want to step it up? Are they also chasing their goals and dreams, wanting to be their absolute best? Are they investing in themselves? That energy is contagious, and before you know it you’ll be the same. My friends make me a better person. Find your people. Motivate, support and keep each other strong. I love that LPPT brings women together, so many friendships get mad...e, and it’s always the most positive, inspiring environment to be a part of It’s a new day, and a new week to take care of yourself, make yourself a priority, do what makes you truly happy, and get those goals

24.01.2022 We live in many homes...
23.01.2022 Approximately what a 400 calorie breakfast looks like ditch the cereal already! It’s high cals, nutrient poor and you’ll be hungry in an hour! 2 x toast Butter and vegemite 2 poached eggs... Tomato Next time if I had them I’d swap the butter for avocado This meal is easy to track at home or if you eat out (the simpler it is, the easier it is to put into myfitnesspal) It’s a balanced meal of protein, carbs and fats, and because of this keeps me satiated for hours! What do you eat for breakfast?

21.01.2022 ...these are the ones who create tomorrow. They are different. They are criticised. They often feel isolated. But what makes us different makes us brilliant. Do not apologise for it. Amplify it. Be you unapologetically and go boldly in the direction of your highest vision.

20.01.2022 Do you fear the scales? Do you measure your self worth based on the number these little things show? I use to. It would ruin my whole day waking up, weighing myself and being disappointed by what I saw. But here are some reasons why the scales go up and down. This week I weighed myself every morning, same variables, to test what happens. I fluctuated up and down each day. The fluctuation was a kilo. Reasons why the scales change:... 1. You haven’t kept the variables the same. You have heavy clothes on now, shoes, you’ve drank heaps of water, had breakfast. 2. You’re measuring yesterday in the morning, today in the evening. 3. You had more salt yesterday. 4. You haven’t gone to the toilet yet 5. You’ve used a different scale 6. Time of month/hormones 7. Your water intake was different 8. Your eating yesterday was different How to weigh yourself (purely to track your progress/know your macros) 1. First thing each morning on an empty stomach (including liquids) 2. After you’ve been to the bathroom 3. Wear minimal clothing (underwear or nothing) 4. Always use the same scale 5. Don’t fear the scales! It’s just a number! It represents NOTHING else about you. How often should you weigh yourself? 1. Either once a week or 2. Each day and then divide by 7 to find your average. If you get obsessive with the scales, best thing to do is just avoid them until you’re mentally in a better place but just don’t forget it’s normal for all of us to have weight fluctuations! Never forget you’re not alone in how you feel!
20.01.2022 Self esteem Having high self esteem means you know your worth, you love and respect yourself, and when someone disrespect you, you can assert yourself and tell them to stop, because you know you don’t deserve that. It’s important to have self esteem and it’s healthy to have boundaries. It’s the difference between who you’ll allow and allow to stay in your life. It’s walking away from people who don’t treat you right.... Ways to improve your self esteem? Know that you are human and you’ll make mistakes. That’s ok! We ALL do. That’s not a reason to beat yourself up over it. Say sorry, and learn and grow from it. You’re not your mistakes. It’s ok to communicate and voice how you feel. You’re not causing drama. You’re not starting a fight. Calmly sit down and tell someone how you feel, and how their actions affect you. How they respond is not your responsibility. That’s on them, and they should listen, and respect your feelings. Surround yourself with people who love you for you. Be your authentic self and the right ones will stay. They’re your people. You don’t have to be liked by everyone. Be ok with this. Always remember your worth. You have to stand up for you. You can be a good person, and still stand up for yourself. Remember how others take that is not your responsibility. Good ones will respect your boundaries on how you expect to be treated. Communicate. Talk about your feelings. It’s ok to be vulnerable, to cry. Keep your head held high, lift people up (you don’t know what battles they’re facing), spread love and be kind

19.01.2022 Just wanted to remind you all to take care of your minds and bodies today. Sometimes work, stress and being busy can take over. Stop and breathe, listen to some calming music.... Drink 2L + water Eat some greens Fill up on veggies Get outside Stretch Do a workout Take care of your health
19.01.2022 There is no greater feeling than conquering a fear. I feel a lot of people rob themselves of experiencing that amazing feeling by letting their fears win. What is one fear you would like to overcome?
19.01.2022 When I was a teacher, I worked really hard being a teacher in general, but then also exercising (which may I add I got to my fitest!) then also began studying PT. At this time, I thought once I start doing PT and leave teaching I’ll have so much more time to exercise, I’ll be so fit, how good! Wrong I didn’t realise it at the time that I was starting my own business (I honestly just wanted to do what I loved) and as I then realised what that entailed, the stress and 24/7 wo...rk load, and wanting to give all my girls 110% I basically stopped training and my eating habits changed. Now, I see that no matter what, no matter what job you have or business, or family, or any situation, we’ll always have times of being busy, overwhelmed etc. But it’s making that conscious effort to go for that walk, or do that workout, or choose a healthier meal. And remembering WHY is that important to you and WHY do you WANT to be healthier. For me, it’s important for my mental health. I’ve had anxiety since I was a kid (for as long as I can remember) and exercising, and a healthy diet for me is the BEST way to manage it. It makes me feel good, clear headed, happy, confident, just all rounded better in all aspects in life. And knowing that I should 100% being doing all I can do make it a priority. How about you? Why is it important to you, to take care of yourself? What difference does it make to you? Remember your WHY

14.01.2022 Old LPPT awards photo! Remember to never compare yourself to someone else’s ‘body goals’. Always focus on being YOUR best. All of our body shapes are SO different. If your goal is to ‘lose weight’ for whatever reason it is for you. To look good, feel good, to fit clothes more comfortably, move easier, anything! Remember you can eat all foods in moderation, have no restriction, and eat in a calorie deficit.... That means you eat less calories than what your body burns in a day - so you then burn body fat. You want to make sure you also consume enough protein in the day to make sure you don’t lose any muscle mass - especially if you want to look toned! Want help with what to eat? Customised meal plans are on my website @lpptsquad NOW is the best time to get started on being your absolute best self
14.01.2022 Can’t wait to meet you all!! Starts tomorrow! Spread the word - let’s create the BEST community of empowered women kicking goals! Sign up on our website @lpptgym
14.01.2022 I am SO excited to share flexible dieting with you all, because it will teach you that there are no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods, you don’t need to clean out your cupboards, cut out all your ‘treats’ and start fresh and clean Monday. You can be empowered with knowledge, and understand that calories are science. Your body requires a certain amount of calories a day. For you to lose weight, you have to eat less calories than what your body burns in a day. This is called a calorie defi...cit. To put on weight, you need to eat more calories than what you burn. This is called a calorie surplus. You can fill your body up with high volume foods that are lower in calories and make some easy swaps. You don’t have to restrict yourself, and cut out all your favourite foods. You CAN have your cake and eat it too! Here, as you can see, for the same amount of olive oil, you could have 3 paddle pops instead! That’s right, you can eat ice cream EVERY day and NOT have to go and work it off! You can make all your favourite treats fit in with your daily calories. This is called flexible dieting/eating. 80% of your day fill it with foods to fuel your body and leave 20% for your favourite foods you love to eat! I am now taking on more women (and men) who want hell through customised meal plans. Simply click the link in my bio to get started! Change how you look, feel, and never diet again! @lpptsquad www.lppt.com.au/shop
13.01.2022 Alcohol. I love to drink. Actually no, I don’t like the taste of alcohol, but to be honest I love getting drunk! I just have so much fun! However, hangovers, and the weight gain (not just from the calories, but all the food I eat that night, and the next day, and then the rubbish feeling for the following DAYS). Does anyone else suffer that much?... I’ve made the conscious decision to ditch the alcohol (which I have so far for the past 3-4 weeks). My plan then moving forward is after the 75 days no alcohol, that I’ll start having it in moderation, and I can get drunk again, but only sometimes. It’s fun, I won’t lie! But doing it ALL the time just leaves me feeling gross, besides, think of all the money you’ll save! Oh, and I always want to learn how to make a few cool drinks like the photo shown. Do you drink or go out often? Do you drink too much and want to slow it down? *I should also mention how bad it is for our livers, bodies, and those brain cells...

11.01.2022 Happy new year Feels good to wake up fresh. Wrote down everything that I want to work towards this year. Love new goals.... To just continue to grow mentally, physically and financially. How good is independenceThis year is whatever we make it! @marinaslappy and I are also doing 75 hard to kick start ourselves. (Our other friends are joining later. Usually they’re alcoholics so the fact that we’re all doing it together and I won’t have to struggle to say no to going out and drinking with them will make it so much easier) Read 10 pages a day 2 x 45 minute workouts 4L water a day Stick to a diet. I’m tracking on myfitnesspal And another one which is a habit I’m adding in is eating only when I’m not in front of the tv or my phone (mindless eating) Hope you all enjoyed your night, and I wish nothing but health, happiness and nothing less than the best for this year ahead for you all!
10.01.2022 If you ever feel like you ruined all your progress because you ate like an asshole or skipped a few workouts...pay attention. 2015 was the height of my Powerl...ifting career. Everything I did was focused on improving my strength, performance & physique. My training was on point. My nutrition was dialed. My sleep was incredible. My life was structured around my fitness. It was not balanced. It was not a lifestyle. It was a mission. Fast forward to 2018 and I was in the middle of my 3-year deal coaching @garyvee 7x/week for 3 years straight. My focus shifted from my fitness to my business. I ate like shit. I barely worked out. I hardly slept. I was traveling all over the world and spent more time in airports & hotels than I did in my own apartment. I don’t regret it. It changed my life for the better. But it was not balanced. It was not healthy. It was a mission. Fast forward another 3 years to 2021 and my health and fitness are arguably the best they’ve ever been. I’m no where near breaking any powerlifting records. And I certainly don’t have the most successful business in the world. But I’m happy. I’m healthy. And I have much more balance. Most important, even though I took, literally, 3 years away from focusing on my own health & fitness... Even though I pulled all nighters every week... Even though my nutrition and training went to shit for 3 years straight... I didn’t ruin my progress. I didn’t fuck anything up. Because when I was finally ready to get back to focusing on myself...I just started. I didn’t dwell on what I did wrong. I focused on what I could now do right. Same goes for you. Quit focusing on the past. Stop worrying about what’s already been done. Focus on now. Focus on what you can do...what you can control...what actions you can take. And do it. Now. Don’t wait. And don’t quit. Because you will never fail as long you don’t give up. #fitness #fitnessmotivation #health #healthy #healthyfood #healthyeating #powerlifting #strengthtraining #weightlifting

08.01.2022 BINGE EATING Just a reminder that binge eating is psychological. You don’t do it because you ‘like chocolate’. You do it because of everything happening WITHIN you. How do you know if you’re a binge eater? Do you eat in private when noones around and binge? Do you black out of lose control? You try to stop yourself but you feel you just have no control and can’t stop.... The best thing to do is to see a doctor, get professional help, talk to someone (not your mum or friend, an actual professional!) Look after yourself by doing things like decluttering your space, journaling your feelings, being surrounded by like minded people, meditating daily, going for a walk or daily exercise, empowering yourself by learning about nutrition (so you realise you don’t have to restrict yourself of your favourite foods), leave any stressful situations (work, relationships etc if possible) that disrupt your peace. I hope these tips help you! You CAN over come it! I did! I never binge eat anymore! (Coming from a huge binge eater for years when I was younger!) I never binge anymore! So if I can do it you can too!
07.01.2022 PROTEIN SOURCES Don’t forget when you train, you tear your muscle fibres. You then want to grow and repair your muscles so that you can grow by eating enough protein. Protein also helps to keep you satiated so you stay fuller for longer!... You want to try and eat a source of protein at each meal. Here are some options you can have!
05.01.2022 How fun! I miss this!

05.01.2022 SWIPE for the calorie break down and recipes After my previous post of the olive oil and paddle pops someone mentioned that the ‘olive oil is healthier than the paddle pops’. So I thought I’d explain this further. Flexible dieting doesn’t mean you should fill your calories with just sugars/desserts. I mean you could if you wanted! However, I believe in 80% good, wholesome foods like the tomatoes, eggs, apple, chicken etc as shown in the image above of the day on a plate. Th...en 20% is left for the foods you just love eating, so fitting in your ice cream/chocolate with lower nutrients in them. The foods here are also: Pizza for lunch Tacos for dinner I’ve made our favourite foods into calorie friendly alternatives that taste great, without being jam packed full of empty calories! Give this example meal plan a try! If you want your own with foods that suit your taste and lifestyle, click the link in my bio for your own customised meal plans! Payment plans available! @lpptsquad www.lppt.com.au

01.01.2022 At the age of 23 she founded Tinder but after 2 years she was forced to leave the company because she was a victim of sexual harassment. At 25 she rises and fou...nds Bumble, a company valued at 14 billion. Whitney Wolfe Herd was born in 1989. At 22, she met Sean Rad and started working with him and 3 other guys on Tinder. It is Whitney who chose the name Tinder, which means "dry, flammable material". The name refers to the burst of a spark. Tinder soon becomes a global hit. Meanwhile, Whitney is dating Justin Mateen, one of the Co-Founders. When they break up, he begins to threaten her, control her, insult her: Whitney is forced to leave. In 2014 she sued the company for sexual harassment and began receiving death and rape threats on social media that caused her severe panic attacks, blocking her in the house. She reacts to the situation by sketching out a new business idea. At the age of 25 she founded Bumble, a dating app where only women can send the first message. In 2019 Bumble is the second most popular dating app in the USA. A few weeks ago Bumble listed on the stock exchange: its valuation reached 14 billion. Today Whitney is known as the youngest self-made woman in history to become a billionaire. [ Federica Segato]
