25.01.2022 The LROCV BBQ Project has been on hiatus for some time but this week signalled renewed focus and effort. Range of things done since Part 2 including: - remove body, cut it down and chassis - made up new rear lower beam for hitch receiver and to mount the rear of the body - lots of work getting roof cut down and affixed - removal of all parts, door seals, excess rivets and blind heads to prep for painting... - straightening of rear door - range of other things Next steps include cutting LHF chassis rail and replace due to damage, source LHF guard if possible, prep for panel work etc. Lots of work to be done but a couple more dedicated Saturdays will see good progress. Thanks to Nikolai, Steve, Michael and Peter for their work Saturday 11/10/14
25.01.2022 More progress on the BBQ trailer build.
24.01.2022 Thanks for all the support from the membership. We are now able to proceed with the project. We have been offered a 2A for FREE thanks to Mick Trenerry To keep all updated with our progress we are setting up a face book page. We will post photos and information there. ... We may also use the club forum also. We are after persons who are interested in helping to email me with their details: Name, Skills, Contact details. The work will be done in Ferntree Gully. What we are after the most is a panel beater / spray painter. Michael Millsteed [email protected]

16.01.2022 Great to get down to the factory and help Michael with the Club BBQ. Sanding back and touching up panels ready to send off to panel beater for final prep and spray.
14.01.2022 Great Club trip today to Arthur's Seat. Thank you to trip leader, Sue, and all those who joined in. Having the Club BBQ there for lunch saved everyone bringing their own portables and having to queue for the one public BBQ.
