While the NHVR and operators use common terms such as B-doubles, low loaders or mobile cranes, Restricted Access Vehicles are classified into classes under the law. 08.01.2022 Heavy vehicle registration labels removed from 1 November 2017 From 1 November 2017, registration labels for heavy vehicles are being abolished. Registration labels for trucks and buses over 4.5 tonnes which are registered in South Australia will no longer be needed, excluding Federal Interstate Registration Scheme (FIRS) vehicles. ... Registration notifications, renewals and updates can be found online through your MySAGov account, and you can set SMS and email reminders for when registrations are due. Registration certificates will now include extra details such as vehicle configuration for easy reference if needed. Save time and effort and keep your fleet moving no more chasing vehicles to change sticky labels.
