23.01.2022 Getting some "ordinary" things done in Almunecar Spain

18.01.2022 I LOVE this Sunshine Coast woman/nutritionist and her view on health and nutrition. I honestly wish I had seen details of her nutrition course instead of the one I did (also good, but I'd have prefered this). For anyone interested in studying nutrition, or any holistic view on health, check it out - August intake coming up soon! Sorry, should have shared earlier, but only just saw it.

13.01.2022 Aaaargh! Why do we know that we are "unique", yet try to use one-size-fits all approaches to almost all life issues?

09.01.2022 EXTROVERTS CONNECT! (And introverts please read and support us) As an extrovert currently alone in an apartment in self-isolation in Portugal for the past 4 days, it's been, and is increasingly, an emotional rollercoaster. There are really funny memes saying that Introverts have been planning their whole lives for this. And it’s true. But by contrast, it is an extrovert’s worst nightmare. And while it’s easy to laugh that off, it’s actually not so funny and can have health ...Continue reading

07.01.2022 Self-isolation is a perfect chance to experiment with some things, while you aren't likely to be embarrassed in front of others. One suggestion from me is to try NOT washing your hair with shampoo or conditioner. Many of you know, I have not washed my hair in 5 years. I wash daily with water and rubbing my scalp vigorously. My hair has never been in better condition, it is chemical free, stops me having to buy useless (and polluting) things, and is less to carry travelli...ng (sob, don't remind me) The thing is, the first 2-4 weeks are HORRIBLE! Your hair goes greasy because it is still pumping out the oils to counteract the amount that is currently stripped from your hair with washing. You will want to tie it back if long, and it will look terrible. A perfect thing to do while you are not having to work each day and meet people. If you do decide to do it, don't EVER wash your hair with shampoos again, because you feel it needs a boost or something. As soon as you do, your hair starts pumping oils again and you have to start the icky period again. A couple of times a year, or sometimes while in highly polluted city, my hair feels like it needs a bit of a clean. I wash it with bicarb and water. I think others may use things like vinegar. Your hair will feel soooo fluffy and soft after that, then you just continue. Why not try it, what have you got to lose?
