24.01.2022 Melanoma does not always presented with a raised bleeding lump, early melanoma (which is potentially curable) are usually flat with absolutely no symptoms.

18.01.2022 Shallow melanoma are potentially curable.. diagnosis usually involves biopsy (taking the whole lesion out after numbing the area with a small needle), larger excision is usually need once the diagnosis is confirmed.

18.01.2022 Incidental finding of a suspicious pigmented lesion. It is "chaotic" in colour and structure, with "clues" of grey structureless areas. Which was subsequently biopsied under local anaesthesia. Result pending. Stay tune.

15.01.2022 Day 7 post excision of right ear skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma) plus cartilage, reconstruction with full thickness skin graft. Dressing removed after 7 days of hard work by the patient (complete dryness). Great result with complete excision, with skin graft completely taken, with full ear contour preserved. Blood clot and scar will fade, and the result can be enhanced by various energy devices.

14.01.2022 2 weeks after operation of a large skin cancer. It was completely excised with good clearance, reconstructed with a thin skin graft taken from his right thigh. U like full thickness skin graft, split skin graft heal up with a depression. It was chosen as full thickness skin graft has a higher graft failure rate. Don't look the best, however the cancer is gone, and the scar will improve with time. Surgical scar of this size can be improve with various techniques. 14.01.2022 Keloid scar after open heart surgery. It is harmless unlike cancer however it can be very irritating. Treatment can be conservative (eg cream, silicon dressing etc) or more invasive approach, however we choose to treat her with a combination of energy devices.

12.01.2022 This gentleman had a discharging pyogenic granuloma a few months ago, which was subsequently treated with caterisation and topical. Not seen him for a few months and this is how it look a few days ago. PS: The colour and depression can further improved.

11.01.2022 Acne scar on the cheek of a young female, which measured about 1.5cm in diameter, with various degree of pitting and tethering. Which can be drastically improved with various techniques.

11.01.2022 Melanoma most often. Appears on the face or the trunk of affected men. In women, this type of cancer most of often develops on the lower legs. This is "Susan" with history of 3 melanomas, 2 of which were located in her lower legs. They were incidental finding during routine check, and luckily they were all shallow melanoma (insitu) with excellent prognosis if adequately treated.

06.01.2022 A skin lesion appeared quickly over a few days however did not seek for medical attention until today. This can either be a keratoacanthoma or a squamous cell carcinoma. Which will be treated surgically.

01.01.2022 Does look much from a distant, does it? These lesions may not be melanoma however warrant further investigation so that we can catch them in their earliest and potentially curable stage. These lesions was removed under local anesthetic, 5-10 mins procedure, result available within 7 days.

01.01.2022 Basal cell carcinoma, a common type of skin cancer, on the ear of this lady. Affixed to the underlying cartilage. Which has to be removed surgically. Many way can be done including simple excision and closure, wedge excision, etc. However we have performed excision and reconstruction with a full thickness skin graft to preserve her ear's natural contour, under local anaesthesia. Door to door 45 minutes for this procedure. Result to follow.
