The action of sniffing and seeking is ...proven to release those feel good chemicals into the brain. Certain smells are known to promote relaxation and will hopefully help your fur baby feel more at ease before entering the clinic. So take a moment to let your dog smell the roses (or the log!) before they come in to see us.

18.01.2022 More time at home with their humans can be a wonderful thing for dogs, but it can also bring some unforeseen stressors. More family members in the same place at... the same time (including children), less personal space, and sudden changes to our dogs daily routine can all spell more stress and more stress can lead to trigger stacking. Trigger stacking occurs when multiple stressors or stressful events occur in close proximity without adequate time for decompression to take place. This can lead to a decreased threshold for reactivity and an increase in intensity of reactions. To keep everyone safe and happy, here are some ways we can help prevent trigger stacking by decreasing stress and increasing decompression for our dogs during this challenging time.

16.01.2022 GROUP TRAINING CLASSES Unfortunately all group training classes will be cancelled due to the COVID-19 changes with non essential businesses being closed. For those who are on a waiting list for the next class session you will be notified when things are back on track ... In the meantime please do not hesitate to contact me for one on one training support and advice Thank you to everyone who has supported me these last few years with my training classes I hope everyone stays healthy and through all this madness can stay positive and be KIND and HELP one another when needed Keep training your dogs and enjoy some quality time with them For now I will continue my work as Veterinary Nurse helping all the animals that need care while spending a bit more quality time with my own pets
