25.01.2022 I decided to have another go at this incredibly difficult wallet pattern! This is my tester and I'll see how it holds up. Definitely some changes I'll make for the next one, different lining and interfacing and some adjustment to the size of the card slots. But altogether I'm quite happy with it. What do you guys think?

24.01.2022 Things have been a bit quiet around here lately, but that will change soon. :) I'm trying to get back into it after a really difficult year, and am sensing a bit of a change of direction. At this stage I won't be taking any more custom bag orders (other than what's on my list already), but will continue to do wallets and start making more creative accessories! Here are a few things I've made for a friend last week, I'd love to hear from you what you'd like to see me make!

23.01.2022 This was so much fun to make! I got to be creative and make up a one off pattern you make a little cross body bag for a phone. I can draft a one off a kind bag pattern for you, just tell me what you want :)

23.01.2022 This Lily bag had all the extras! A flat lay zipper panel with magnet closure for when the zip isn't being used, a bottle pocket, internal zip and slip pockets. Lovely soft chocolate brown cork leather and antique bronze hardware.

14.01.2022 This Amelia hobo bag has a flat lay zipper panel added - it separates and lays flat against the lining when not being used. I can customise most bag designs to have different closures, pockets, and straps for you so you can have exactly what you want!

14.01.2022 I took a little time out from work orders today to make myself a velvet dress. It's given me some great ideas regarding using wrap scrap as features on clothing. I am intrigued by the idea of combining my two sewing passions :)

14.01.2022 What do you do when your wallet gets dirty? Well this is the very first wallet I made with cork leather well over a year ago (hence non matching top stitching thread, I was just experimenting!). The cork was grubby and the fabric was stained with coffee etc after daily use that whole time. So I popped it through a delicate wash in my front loader with some clothes and dried it on the washing line. It turned out perfectly and didn't even need ironing. There is a little wear on the edges of the cork tabs and wrist strap, but otherwise it's in fantastic condition after all this time. So if your wallet or bag is getting beyond the spot clean stage I'd say give it a go on a delicate cycle or hand wash it :)

08.01.2022 Lovely Della wallet in Lenny Lamb 'Colors of Rain' wrap scrap, antique gold hardware and if you look closely you can see the bronze metallic top stitching on the cork. This was a fun order as I got to surprise my customer and be a bit creative!

07.01.2022 This custom Amelia hobo bag made with Ankalia Lolly wrap scrap. It is 85% of the usual size to fit the narrow scrap width. It has an added internal zip pocket and a flat lay zipper - this separates and sits flat against the bag when it's not in use.

07.01.2022 I absolutely loved working with this gorgeous handwoven wrap scrap! Those colours are unedited! I think the copper hardware really made it - worth the wait ordering it from Canada :)

06.01.2022 I've been saving this gorgeous piece of handwoven wrap scrap from Cheeky Monkey Handwoven for a special project. I felt this pattern, without the cork contrast and tabs of the Della wallet, made the most of the small piece of fabric. If this Eloise wallet lasts well through testing I'll be offering it in custom spots from April onwards.
