25.01.2022 Hello friends and followers of Live To Ride Motorcycle Tours. As you are probably aware our "What About Me" crowd funding campaign concluded yesterday and we werent successful in reaching our target. Although this is a setback to our project it is certainly NOT THE END OF IT. This is far to good a thing to give up on.... "I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER OUR SINCERE THANKS." I would like to thank all of the supporters of our campaign that showed their passion for and belief in our project by pledging a financial contribution. You are champions for inclusion and change. (You should have received an Email by now from Start Some Good thanking you for your support and informing you that you pledge WILL NOT be deducted from your bank accounts.) I would also like to thank the many people that have supported us by spreading the word about our story and fund raising campaign amongst their friends and social media networks. Without your efforts we wouldnt have been able to reach as many people as we have and generate the amount of interest and support that we did. The fact that you can see our vision for this service and understand the benefits that it will bring to people inspires and motivates us to carry on working towards our final goal of sharing the ride and more importantly enriching peoples lives. "WE NOW HAVE A TEAM" As a result of our campaign and the associated media exposure it received, we have generated a significant amount of interest and support for Live To Ride Motorcycle Tours and our project and a number of passionate people have come forward to offer their time, expertise and services to assist us in getting this good thing going. Our new team is currently in the process of assessing our progress and planning our strategy for moving forward with this project and establishing our disability friendly motorcycle activities and tourism service. "WATCH THIS SPACE" Yours Sincerely Mick Jackson Director, Live To Ride Motorcycle Tours.
24.01.2022 Hello everyone. Thank you all for your support last year. Here's a little update on our progress.... Late last year we purchased our first disability friendly and wheelchair accessible sidecar. We are getting closer to our goal of sharing the thrill of the ride. Now we are working on raising the funds to have the sidecar professionally fitted. Its costly but its got to be done right to ensure the safety of our riders and passengers.
24.01.2022 What an amazing day What and amazing community. 1 BIG step closer to our first special disability friendly and wheelchair accessible sidecar. Thank you to Channel Seven Sunrise, Australia Post and particularly all the amazing people that can see what this thing will achieve and have thrown their support behind our project.

20.01.2022 Thank you to all these people:- David Masefield & Joy Taylor of Startup Toowoomba & Canvas Co-op. David & Joy are much valued business advisors and mentors.... They have always made themselves available and offered guidance, training and sound advice whenever it was needed. Paul Jumeau. Paul has offered advice, helped with statistical analysis, he has accompanied me to meetings to pitch our story and has been kind enough to provide copies of our stationary and promotional information. He has also assisted us by resolving some issues with my computer when it spat the dummy. Karen Grace and the Grace Family. Karen is a passionate supporter and has assisted with the creation and distribution of the brochures promoting our campaign. She has been pro active in coming up with ideas and strategies to move our project forward and her enthusiasm for and belief in what we are working towards has invigorated me and spurred me on. Mick Bampton-hore. Another person that sees the bigger picture and always makes himself available to help others. He is one of those that leads by example. He is a man of actions. Mick has been a strong supporter that understands what were trying to achieve. His friendship, goodwill and support has strengthened my resolve to see this through to fruition. Tony Wilshire & Leanne Wilshire Tony and Leanne are two of the most passionate supporters we have. Tony has accompanied me to meetings to pitch our story and has put his heart and soul into spreading the word and networking on the behalf of Live To Ride Motorcycle Tours. He has been tenacious and that has inspired me and given me new strength and resolve when I have felt a little disheartened. These have been the main players, but there have been many other passionate people that have gone above and beyond to help us move forward. I apologise if I havent mentioned you. You have all played a very important role in keeping me going and working toward our final goal of sharing the ride. Each time a new supporter joins the TEAM it greatly increases our prospects for a successful future. I no longer feel alone in this endevour . Thank You All. Yours Sincerely, Mick Jackson.

" You cant do that", Robbie is now more confident and says, "I can do that, just you watch me." He feels empowered and enabled. Robbie also feels that he is part of the biker community. Way to go Robbie. Were so proud of you mate.

18.01.2022 Hello all. We havent posted much since the conclusion of our crowd funding campaign, but thats because we have been very busy re assessing our situation and working on new strategies to move our project forward. The strong positive response to our campaigns promotion and the feed back weve received from industry and the community have given us a lot of information to think about and work with and we feel more confident than ever about the future of our proposed Disabilit...y and Special Needs Friendly Motorcycle Activities & Tour Service. In future we will be posting more regular updates on what we have been doing and the progress we are making with our project.

16.01.2022 I would also like to thank :- John "Hollywood" Biggar. 15.01.2022 A few weeks ago a few if us took our friend Robbie for another ride. Robbie's mum say his attitude has changed since his rides. She said, after being told for most of his life, ... " You can't do that", Robbie is now more confident and says, "I can do that, just you watch me." He feels empowered and enabled. Robbie also feels that he is part of the biker community. 14.01.2022 Went to the Engine Room Cafe this morning to show Live To Ride Motorcycle Tours support for the "Ride Against Drought" initiative bringing together the motorcycling community to help support our Aussie farmers in this tough time. It was good to see Tony Wilshire getting into the spirit and dressing the part to help get the message across. Your a champion mate.... The other pic is of Motorbike Writer, Mark Hinchcliffe being interviewed by The Chronicle reporters to promote the cause.
14.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Were getting a visitor early on Wednesday morning. Sunrise heard about Live To Ride Motorcycle Tours vision and want to help share the story. A few of us riders are turning up with our bikes to take some of the crowd members that cant ride for a blockie around Queens Park to put a smile on their faces.... Please come along and join us. If you have a motorcycle, bring it along and show it off in our static display of bikes in the car park. Im working to organize some breaky and entertainment to make a real event of it. Lindsay St carpark. 5am till about 7.30am I know its early but it should be a bit of fun. To come for a ride you must be wearing long pants and sturdy closed shoes.
14.01.2022 Today I would like to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to some very special people. For years I have worked alone on this project. Recently these people have joined me in working towards bringing the Live To Ride Motorcycle Tours vision to life. They have invested their time, their energy, efforts, resources, expertise and passion into this project.... Their support has been crucial to the cause and has shown me that they too can see the vision and believe in the benefits that this service will bring to people in our community. They have shown me that others really do care about what Ive been trying to achieve over the years. They have made me feel that I am not alone in this and have inspired and motivated me to continue on. This service is not so much about the ride. Our motorcycle rides themselves will really only be the tool. Its more about improving peoples well being and enhancing peoples lives by creating capacity, ability, opportunity and promoting inclusion and interaction by introducing them to new experiences that they may otherwise not have been able to access. The following post is for those people that have gone above and beyond to help us along the way. I cannot thank you enough. Yours Sincerely Mick Jackson
14.01.2022 Joshy is one of the kids we had the pleasure of sharing a ride with at a Make a Wish Foundation Christmas Party some years ago. He is one of the reasons we decided we needed to develop our special service. The reaction and response we saw from Joshy and other people with special needs has given us the motivation, drive and determination to get this special motorcycle service going.... Thank you Toni and Josh. You helped me learn about whats important in life.
