25.01.2022 It’s nearly time to hit the court again! After being on the sidelines for nearly the whole of 2020, we are expecting an update on the 18th Oct saying Tennis can finally return to Melbourne. That’s only 10 days away!... So let’s get out of hibernation and prepare for the return of LTU Tennis. Let the countdown begin!

16.01.2022 After 120 long days, LTU Tennis is finally opening up its courts again! We’re running 2 nights of open court sessions - free for all LTU Tennis members! Join in on the return to tennis via link below! ... https://www.revolutionise.com.au/ltutennis/events/list/

15.01.2022 TENNIS IS ALLOWED TO RE-COMMENCE! A further update to come from Tennis Vic soon regarding the exact number of players at individual venues. We also now to begin talks with La Trobe Sport to see what we can do in the coming weeks.... More info to come in the next few days!

08.01.2022 Hey everyone! It's so great to hear that Tennis has been able to return as of Monday this week. As per the Government's rules, here are the rules for the return to tennis: - Maximum of 10 people at the courts at any one time. - These 10 people can only be from 2 households.... Being that it is already Wednesday, the LTU Tennis Committee have decided that we will wait and see what Dan says on Sunday - there is some speculation that he will lift the '2 household' rule for outdoor gatherings. Therefore, the LTU Tennis courts will remain closed until next week. We'll get back to you next week based on what happens on Sunday.

06.01.2022 Hope you all stayed safe through these tough times. Together with the state government and LTU Sport, LTU Tennis has been given the green light to commence playing tennis again! Last week we ran a very small test week, and after everything ran (almost) smoothly, we are ready to increase our sessions and run some more formal programs! ... We are not allowed to run competitions at this time. For the next few weeks, we will have several sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have tried to accommodate for all skill levels. So all 3 skill levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) have 2 sessions each. One on Tuesday and one on Thursday. You can read all the details, descriptions and rules of our return to tennis here: www.ltutennis.com/returntotennis REGISTER FOR NEXT WEEK'S SESSIONS HERE:* https://www.revolutionise.com.au/ltutennis/events/ *New players welcome, however we will give preference to current 2020 LTU Tennis members. More details on the rules website posted above. If you would like to become a member, memberships are only $25 and can be bought from here: www.ltutennis.com/join-now Any questions, please message us and we'll help you out!

03.01.2022 It seems so long ago that we ran one of the most successful come & hit sessions with over 100 people turning up. As with everything that’s going at the moment, LTU Tennis will be closed until further notice. This is in line with what LTU released last week. We will reassess the situation after the Easter break... Stay safe!
