24.01.2022 So many awesome students .. So many awesome (and valuable) jackets and jumpers without homes to go to .. This is the current pile I have brought inside to sort through. The top pile has names. The bottom doesn’t. Parents and carers, it is SO important to clearly label your children’s clothing! The lovely ladies in the office also have a large tub of lost and found clothing waiting to be returned home to their owners. ... The following students have clothing to collect from my clothing pile. These can be collected from the office near the main entry doors. Thanks! Jen McDonald Lucas A - v neck jumper (no size) Patrick Whitten - v neck jumper (10) Isaac Lawrence - sport jacket (10) Milne - v neck jumper (14) Seth Vowles - fleece jacket (8) Ryan Humbley - fleece jacket (12) Darcy Channells - sports jacket (8) Ruby Pirie - v neck jumper (no size) Xavier Young - sports jacket (12) Patrick Whitten - fleece jacket (6) Annabella Smith - fleece jacket (8)

15.01.2022 Year 11 spent the day getting mentally 'life ready' - just one of the sessions of the Life Ready program that they have completed over the last two weeks. A day of understanding gratitude and resilience and putting into practice the strategies that they learnt! A day of sharing and bravery, and most importantly a day of caring and empathy among peers. As a teacher, it was a phenomenal day to be a part of and we are GRATEFUL knowing that these wonderful students are now better mentally prepared for the challenges life will throw their way.

08.01.2022 CANCELLATION OF HIGH SCHOOL SPORT - THURSDAY 24 SEPTEMBER 2020 Dear Parents/Carers, As you are all aware COVID-19 has caused a significant disruption to the Year 12, 2020 cohort. The Year 12 Graduation will go ahead this Thursday without parents or family members in the audience. The only audience for the Year 12 Graduation will be teachers.... As we would like this occasion to be special for our students, despite the restrictions, the decision has been made to cancel sport for this Thursday afternoon for all high school students, with minimal supervision available. This is to allow the majority of high school teachers the opportunity to attend the graduation in support of our Year 12 cohort. Should you wish for your child to leave school at 12:10pm on this day (the beginning of lunch time), please complete your permission (available through School eNews and emailed to parents 21 Sept) and return to your child’s relevant Deputy Principal by Wednesday 23 September. Thanking you for your understanding and support. Kind regards, Julie Perkins Principal

A deserved award for a young student with a passion for Mental Health and supporting youth in our community. Ashleigh volunteers in the Councils Youth Group and the Headspace Reference Group, she is a true advocate for change. Ashleigh was instrumental in the running of the school's annual Wellbeing Festival this year, and we can't wait to see what she accomplishes next.

02.01.2022 ** CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISING - WATCH THIS SPACE ** We received the most exciting package from Crazy Camel this afternoon - everything our P&C needs to commence our Christmas Fundraiser!! Our amazing staff have suggested that we allow our children to get creative and artistic, so we have jumped on board with that idea, and are going to offer families the opportunity to purchase a variety of products featuring their child’s artwork. ... Options to choose from will include: - greeting cards - diaries, notebooks & sketchpads - pillowcases - calendars - tea towels - tote bags An online letter via E-news and a hard copy note will come home with the students at the beginning of term 4 explaining clearly how this fundraiser will work, with when to pay by, how to pay (no money sent to office), when to return artworks etc. We are super excited to be offering this to the students! We know how much this year has been a challenge, and do take into consideration that we have missed MANY opportunities to raise money for the school community. We look forward to seeing the creativeness that flows through your children’s fingertips! Jen McDonald P&C President
