23.01.2022 @angelatiatia absolutely blowing us away with her practice today. This girls a force to be reckoned with. We simply didn’t want the presentation to end! A bit about her art making: Angela Tiatia explores contemporary culture, drawing attention to its relationship to representation, gender, neo-colonialism and the commodification of the body and place, often through the lenses of history and popular culture. We were moved by her ability to visually represent history and contemporary issues... and her works...well they steal your eyes. So gaze worthy you can’t look away. 20.01.2022 A brave artist who has a unique take on how to capture someone. Her photograph Sumbawa Pride Sumbawa Pride Life on a Boat With Eleven Kids, 2018, we first saw at the National Photographic Portrait Prize simply blew us away. Now we know her story. One of patience and intrigue and copious amounts of love. The story touched everyone in the room. Thank you for giving us such an authentic experience of what it’s like to be a photographer. Selena from @sunstudios can help you with all your printing needs. Don’t forget with your ticket is one free printing consult with Selena. In school depending on location or in the @sunstudios showroom! It’s amazing the difference she can make to an HSC BOW. Our advice: go early don’t wait until July next year as her advice can assist your students PREPARE their images to assist in achieving the best quality print. So happy to be able to offer this experience to teachers!
