25.01.2022 Ever wondered how a 2 stage looks like or what it is?? Demonstrated on this now immaculate BMW to show the steps on how we do Essentially a stage means how many passes we do with the same polish compound and pad. ... A 1 stage is going over the whole vehicle once usually giving a major enhancement in paint gloss & removing lighter swirls and defects A 2 stage (done to this vehicle) is for more severe defects on the car. The first pass aims to remove those defects and dedicated to that only. The second pass is with a lighter compound and pad combo to remove any marring left by the cutting stage and finishing the vehicle off to a nice glossy glow
