22.01.2022 Summer in the hills.....a new cake and flowers business (Flour&Flower), new baby chicks, a bedroom reno with a re-paint and deer wallpaper feature wall, taught myself how to use a drill so I could make a swing and erect a birdhouse, finished the Taj Mahal of chookhouses and enjoyed my fowl's escapades, made myself the water-lily feature pond I've been wanting forever and watched sunsets from my beautiful verandah. I love my little Woodlyn haven.

From the wall-paper, to the paint colours, the velvet curtains sourced from the UK, to furniture sourcing, art procuring, decorating props, garden design and all floral pieces; a huge undertaking but so necessary to bring this old beauty back to life!

08.01.2022 I found this beautiful old metal bath on the side of the road this week. It's completely water-tight, albeit a bit rusty, so I can't decide whether to make it into a water-lily pond, a flower bed, a jacuzzi by the fire pit (by, as I don't want to burn my bottom) or a cooling outdoor bath in summer... mmm, the quandary!
