24.01.2022 Was a good night, more photos to come

23.01.2022 On the 1st of August the Lucindale Lions Club had the honour of having District Govouner David Snook come to our hall where he spoke about his recent trip to the Lion's convention which this year was held in Las Vegas. On the same night we welcomed in 2 new members, D. Evans and J. Smith, heres hoping the two of them bring some fresh new ideas to the club.

19.01.2022 The success of Saturday night's One Night Stand in Lucindale, and the ability of the Lucindale community to pull off such a massive event, is well summed up by ...this email received from a visiting family by the Naracoorte Herald last night: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We just wanted to find an avenue to congratulate and thank the people of Lucindale and surrounding areas, especially the volunteers, for a fantastic weekend. We travelled down on Thursday from Adelaide with our two daughters, 11 and 12, staying the full three nights on offer at Yakka Park. The level of organisation, competency and laid back friendliness was incredible and made for an easy, family safe weekend. It would be so hard to plan and cater for an unpredictable cyclone of people to hit in such a short time and we felt for the investment the locals and stall holders had made ahead of the weekend. We hope it returned at a level that delivered the reward they deserved. Of course the highlight was the concert, in particular the Hilltop Hoods for us. However, driving back today we all agreed our favourite part of the weekend was the vibe of the campground. People from every walk of life coming together and just sharing a perfect environment entirely created by the local community and the entertainment on offer. We improved friendships, made new friends, and had countless generous conversations from locals, be they volunteers, business owners or just someone in the area. The Lions Club in particular deserve recognition. You have showcased your very green part of the world beautifully. Until we return (soon). The Skinner family.

12.01.2022 A Great read Keep up the good work. Lucindale's South East Feild Day's will get to hear about their report being a member of the Australian Field Day's Association. Lucindale/South East Field Days do a top job. It is mainly run by Volunteers with help from sporting clubs etc for the field day's. A good percentage of our money is donated to Charities that the Lions Club selects. A few year's ago we donated a $100,000 a CAT SCAN Machine for use in the Naracoorte Hospital. The So...uth East Fiels Days Site also host's the Music Festival in April (growing yearly) The Speed Shears in November & The Odd Caravan Rally. It is also hired out for various Functions or parts there of. We also pride our selves on having green grass for the Exhibitors. www.southeastfielddays.com. Cheers

02.01.2022 An ongoing project for the Lucindale Lions Club, situated in the main Street adjacent the playground, is the new Lucindale Lions Cazeebo. Constructed by the Lions building committee, this will be a great addition to the facilities there. It will contain seating and benches as well as a powered BBQ area, the perfect spot for any family or social event.
