I thought this picture is classic of Wagin Camera Club supporting Breast Cancer!, little did they know it rang very true for me! #breastcancerawareness #everlastings #flowers #pinkribbon
20.01.2022 Golden Everlastings in mums garden at Broomehill. They have been very hardy, destroyed by chooks, however have come back to be so beautiful. Goldens seem to hold on for longer than the pink and whites too #everlastings #goldeneverlastings #gardening #flowers #chooks

16.01.2022 Phew Yesterday I packed and posted my flowers to florists. Those boxes contain hours and hours of hard, knee breaking work. Enjoyable at times, being surrounded by such happiness in flowers. They were picked carefully by so many different people from Kojonup, to Perth and Albany... and now they are almost all gone Until next year! #everlastings #picking #kojonup #flowers #florists #expresspost #gardening
15.01.2022 These pictures were given to me by Phil from Toowoomba . He was concerned the flower buds were facing downwards. Rest assured this is perfectly normal. Just wait! They will soon look up to the sun, and smile #everlastings #flower #bloom #potplants #toowoomba #gardening
14.01.2022 Frankland River Retreat guests on a mystery tour, to see our everlastings! Yay!! They thought the crop was amazing, even though the flowers have lost their colour ...then Sarah’s car broke down so they stayed slightly longer than expected #tourism #flowers #everlastings #brokendown #thankyourac #itsanadventure
14.01.2022 Here are some amazing pictures of wildflowers in Yuna, Chapman Valley, in the north of Western Australia. Photos were sent to me by Kirsten, with thanks. Such a lovely carpet of beautiful flowers #wildflowers #wildflowerseason #chapmanvalley #everlastings #flowers
13.01.2022 My friend Kylie bought a packet of seeds from the Broomehill cafe, sowed them quite late in the season (August), and now they look a magnificent sight! Well done gardening guru #gardening #flowers #everlastings
12.01.2022 This next story of everlastings, comes from Judy in Broomehill. Judy has a lovely patch of everlastings, where she just scratched the soil with a rake, sprinkled the seed and gently raked over them again. No fertilizer at the front fence but a little sheep poo with the ones in the brick garden. Also netting over them to stop rabbits. This netting possibly helped to hold them up, when it was very windy this year. Archie the dog, is in the foreground #simple #easy #everlastings #gardening #wildflowers #broomehill #flowers
12.01.2022 My everlastings in the wheelbarrow were not watered and no rain was had, BUT look at the recovery! Everlastings are miraculously hardy!! #backfromthebrink #everlastings #flowers #water #gardening
11.01.2022 My shed is now empty from flower picking season, all florists catered for, everlastings delivered, everyone is happy... including me Its hard work organising people, pickers, accommodation and food, counting bunches, collection from paddock, treating and then hanging to dry. Every bunch is inspected for perfection. Anyway love seeing an empty shed, celebration called for
11.01.2022 Im not a florist by any means, but these are my bunches to go to The Kodja Place in Kojonup. Call in and have a look at the fresh ones growing in their garden!! #everlastings #flowers #tourists
10.01.2022 So lovely and quaint These everlastings were planted by Alex, in Banjup, with just a bit of a tickle, not to bury them. They were watered in after planting (only because irrigation was already watering the roses). They grow beautifully on the Banjup alkaline soils, with limestone chunks and they did not receive any fertiliser. Alex has a beehive about 10m away and they absolutely love the everlastings! A hive of activity!! Thankyou Alex, for allowing me to share!... #everlastings #wildflowers #gardening #flowers #pink #happy See more
10.01.2022 Very excited to have the ‘Vasse General Store’ stocking my everlasting packets! After losing the wonderful UScape to the Covid downturn in March, I now have a replacement . #vasse #packets #everlastings #stockists #lucindaseverlastings #timetoplantisnow
10.01.2022 An Express posted box of flowers, sent to Queensland in September, has turned up ‘lost’! The flowers looked horrible and squashed, HOWEVER, after steaming them, they turned out just beautiful. Like they hadn’t even been lost! #everlastings #lostinpost #flowers #unreliablemail #recovery
10.01.2022 So lucky to have a special friend send me this picture last week. Nikki from Hyden planted these everlastings quite late in August and now look at them! Amazing!!! Such a great gardener, although she says she isn’t. I disagree! #gardening #flowers #everlastings #hyden #countrygardens
09.01.2022 Cashew is our pet kangaroo who is nearly 2 years old. We unfortunately hit his mother, pulling poor Cashew from her pouch. He has a dicky leg from the accident, so Im afraid we will have him for ever as he cant jump a fence. He is very friendly and sleeps at our back door. He also loves eating everlastings!! #everlastings #kangaroo #wildflowers #natives #happy #flowers #everlastingcrop2020
09.01.2022 This picture comes from Nicky who lives in Duncraig, and has a wonderful garden full of everlastings I couldnt be happier with my flowers . I love that my neighbours on the street stop and look at them and have a chat if I am in the garden A little background for this patch of everlastings; Nicky weeded, sowed the everlastings, fertilised, covered lightly with a native compost and then watered them in. Nicky kept up the water to them at the start of the season, until ...they were well established. Easy as that!! Nicky also has a great little business called Sweet Floral Wedding and Event florist and will hopefully use the flowers within her work as well! I think everyone should seed these lovelies all round WA #gardening #everlastings #flowers #wildflowers #happy
09.01.2022 So lovely seeing some fresh everlastings in Como today at my sisters Mother-in-Law place. So bright and beautiful to see #beautiful #everlastings #gardening #flowers

08.01.2022 This is Jessicas garden from Frankland. Feeling slightly despondent with her garden full of weeds, Jessica found some junk (treasures) from around her farm, pulled up some agapathas and replanted them, then sprinkled everlastings on the ground. She is very happy with the result. Just a few simple things have made all the difference Cost her less than $50, even better!!

08.01.2022 Wander out Yonder and visit the wildflowers! These pictures were taken by Photographer Barbara Dolphin . They were taken at Taylor Road in Latham, Coalseam and somewhere between Jibberding and Paynes Find. Barbara said they have seen Everlastings everywhere up north. Beautiful.

06.01.2022 Golden everlastings are amazing for adding colour to your garden . This is a picture from Alix in Iluka WA, who scattered seed at the base of her pot plant in the garden, watered them in, and let the rain do the rest! A lovely result! #everlastings #gardening #flowers #easytogrow #beautiful
05.01.2022 Empty shed. No more everlastings, all delivered to florists and happy people. A lot of hard work, but so happy with all bunches #everlastings #flowers #florists #jobdone
05.01.2022 What a display! These everlastings were planted at the end of March, into a garden bed in Baldivis. The home is very new, the garden beds not fully established, so Matthew thought that instead of applying mulch to stabilise the soil, the everlastings would do the job. What a fabulous job they did! Yay!! Nothing else was done to the site, except to throw them on the ground, and water them in to help them get started with a dry autumn. During the growing season, it was very ...windy at times, so Matthew was worried the seeds might disappear, but the everlastings stayed put, and produced an amazing show #everlastings #flowers #gardening #easytogrow #noprep #beautiful
05.01.2022 Ooooohh. Love hearing and seeing successes from the eastern states!! . Heres a goodie from Helen, Table Top, NSW. When asked how Helen prepared her site the answer was as follows; I just followed the instructions on the bag, raked over the bare soil , sprinkled it about and patted down the top and went north for 6 weeks! Spring came and up they popped... #sogood #easycare #easycareplants #everlastings #kojonup #flowers #gardening
05.01.2022 This gardening story comes from Chris, in West Perth. Chriss everlasting seeds were planted with no site preparation, as they were already growing with sunflowers and kangaroo paws. The soil was sandy, so slow release fertiliser was added in late summer. Chris followed our web-sites advice and scattered the seeds on the surface, with a gentle rake and then dusted with a thin layer of potting mix to cover them. Chris also lightly watered the seeds, until the winter rains arrived. The site required a weekly weed check and daily check for snails. They were surprised how many snails they hadand how much they loved eating everlasting seedlings . Luckily Chris didnt lose too plants, because the site looks amazing! Chris was also very impressed with how quickly the seedlings sprouted #gardening #everlastings #flowers
04.01.2022 City of Mandurah have previously ordered everlasting packets as an initiative to encourage Waterwise gardening. Packets were so popular they have ordered again! Well done City of Mandurah, great job, and great educational initiative! #waterwise #everlastings #gardening #promotionalpackets
03.01.2022 You have to look twice at this next picture!! What an amazing treat, to see this! Linda from Illowa, Victoria has created an amazing bed of native wildflowers... on a bed!! What an novel way of using unused furniture! Linda gave me a list of the native wildflowers... Chrysocephalum, Brachyscome, Schoenia, Leptorhynchos and Rhodanthe. Some are annuals and some are perennials. The pink Rhodanthe chlorocephalum will finish in December and hopefully the low perennials around the edge will flourish. #wellthoughtoutgarden #wildflowers #everlastings #gardening #flowers #recycle
01.01.2022 45mm of rain fell on my flower crop last night. Petals ruined and stained and no more picking. Well, thats ok. The benefit FAR outweighs the loss . Crops can grow, dams will be full AND I can open the gate for the SHEEP to eat them! Yay!! Here are a few final pictures of my wonderful pickers. LuLu, Ellysha, Kasey, Max, Trina, Matt, Wendy, Justin, Bianca, Jaiden, Blake, Zade, Olivia, Tammy, Nora and Jimmy. Thankyou! ... #everlastings #picking #florists #flowers #kojonup #natives #flowerpicking #finished
