02.01.2022 @omniabistro is a test kitchen/pop-up restaurant in a slick space on the Punt end of Toorak Rd. Chef Stephen Nairn helms this smart new venue in preparation for opening multiple outlets at Capitol Grand, the colossal new apartment development consuming the old Fun Factory space at the Chapel end of Toorak Road. Secure a reservation in advance or try your luck at the bar which has it's own laneway entrance and is a worthy cocktail destination in its own right. @orlandomarzo cr...eated the list divided into four distinct flavour and style categories - Florals, Spices, Roots and Zero Proof. The Lemon Myrtle Gimlet is a highlight. A favourite dish was the duck liver parfait with preserved cherries and the illicitly white buns. It pairs well with the Gunderloch - Als Wars ein Stuck Riesling.
