24.01.2022 In exciting news for the club, our AGM was held last night and it was met with a terrific turnout! In the meeting we covered the new COVID protocols and how that will look going forward, the acceptance of three senior and three junior teams and also announced a new look commitee! Congratulations to the following; Paul West and Matt Corbett (Presidents), Ryan Mitchell (Vice President), Stephen Gibbons (Secretary), Andrew Gibbons (Treasurer), Sam East, Jarryd Floyd, Joel Will...iams, Paul Corben, Max Keddie, Daniel Bryant, Steve Parker, Beau Haslam and Vid Gamage. The club is in a really good place and is excited for the year ahead! Go Pies!

23.01.2022 G’day Magpie family! The club has decided that the best thing to do during these uncertain times will be to get together and have a bit of hit and enjoy everybody’s company! This Sunday, the 26th of July, the club will be running a net session from 11 o’clock that may involve some running. ... This of course will be done under Cricket Victoria's return to train/play Covid-19 guidelines with the key items being - no shining ball with sweat/saliva - no sharing balls where possible - no sharing equipment - do not turn up if unwell - no shaking hands/high fiving etc. - BYO drink bottles

16.01.2022 Hi All, Big week for the club with the Under 16s in the Granny and all senior teams finishing up for the season. - Tuesday: No Training... - Thursday: Last training session of the year. Dinner will pizzas at $10 per head. Also, big tidy up of the sheds if anyone is available to help out. - Saturday: Last game of the season for all three senior grades. A Grade are in a good spot to take the chocolates at home. B Grade are at Wy Yung and C Grade are at home as well. - Saturday night: We would love for all teams to meet back at the sheds for a drink. - Sunday: Presentation Day for all senior sides at the sheds. 08.01.2022 Dear Magpie Family, We will be having a pre-Christmas function this Saturday night, it will be $10 a head for dinner. Time: 6:30pm... Date: 5/12/2020 Due to the restrictions being relieved recently this will be the major function prior to Christmas. We identified this weekend as a perfect opportunity as C grade have the bye and A&B are playing at home. So it would be great to have plenty of supporters at the ground to hopefully watch two victories. Also, let’s make the function worthwhile and get as many people along as we can!

06.01.2022 Hi all! It has been recently announced that cricket will be returning! Return to play announcements U13’s- Friday 9th of October U16’s- Saturday 10th of October Seniors- 17th of October... To get back into it seniors will be having a session this Sunday at 11:00. Due to guidelines we can have a maximum of 30 and are allowed to train in groups of 10. If you are intending to train can you please comment on this post to help prepare for this session. Further updates about the season and training sessions will be updated soon!
