25.01.2022 Saturday night Italian all part of the #luckystu birthday weekend feast. This would have to be one of our favourite pasta dishes ~ Farfalle pasta with cherry tomatoes, sauted broccolini, spinach, chives, lemon zest + juice and a sprinkle of smoked bacon. I made some homemade garlic bread and we enjoyed some delicious virgin mojitos. New favourite for sure!

22.01.2022 Homemade chicken schnitzel w chive potato mash and sauted silverbeet. So easy to make and I freeze a heap of schnitzels for when I cant be bothered cooking and feel like something a little indulgent. Recipe coming soon.

21.01.2022 #luckystu breakfast using up leftover turkish bread which works amazingly with any breakfast creation. Just a simple breakfast sandwich with smoked bacon, sauted spinach and tomato which I made into a rough spreadable paste and a gooey fried egg. Definitely a winner!

20.01.2022 Sunday night schnitzels for #luckystu birthday weekend feast. Love a homemade schnitzel but the trick is a well seasoned panko crumb - so crunchy and addictive. Pictured here with some rough mashed potato (skins left on for texture) and sauted silverbeet and served with some homemade gravy which didnt make the picture.

Stu and I welcomed our baby boy, Arlo, on the 24th January and hes 4 months old. 12.01.2022 Late brunch for #luckystu and I today because the last two days have been hectic and exhausting. Using leftovers from weekend catering and whatever I had in my fridge this worked a treat. Pan bread (which is basically Sizzler cheese bread) with Mexican pulled pork, black beans, sauted tomatoes, poached eggs and chives. Not the best photo but it disappeared pretty quickly. Love a good leftovers brunch. Simple but delicious.

My client wanted some simple but delicious food options for a dinner party with matching wines and we went with an Italian style menu. Part of the brief was food to share that could be cooked a delivered warm or heated up easily. My client wanted a menu that was easy to serve and therefore I delivered the food with simple instructions to heat and serve. As pictured with wines - share a...ntipasto, two trays of lasagne (one meat & one GF vego) with salad leaves, pear and shaved parmesan, 6 hour Italian braised lamb shoulder with crispy rosemary potatoes and to finish a ricotta and lemon dessert cake with whipped vanilla cream and lemon curd.
