24.01.2022 Good old Teddy still needs a home. Howdy My name is Teddy. I’m an older chirpy gent with a taste for the finer things in life. I like my relaxed lifestyle, watching TV from the back of the couch, doing burn outs on the carpet during the day to decorate the house, a dine sachet of any flavour, and fillet steak! I don’t like the vacuum or being picked up! I’m looking for a kind person to give me a relaxing quiet home to live in! I will repay you by sleeping on your bed at nigh...t and protecting you from bad dreams, being a chirpy friend in the house, and constant headbumps when you stop patting me at night. I will also tell you when it’s time to go to bed, and if you don’t go on time I’ll go by myself! Initially I will be withdrawn and shy, but I will eventually come out of my shell, don’t worry about that!! My foster Mom is going back to WA and I can’t go with her. Pls share for me I have to find a home in the next 2 weeks. Only a week left to find him one. Quiet, indoors, scroll down 5 posts and you will see his original post.

24.01.2022 REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL BOY BILLY!!! So 3 weeks ago my mother in law gave her 3 dogs the nexgaurd spectra, we wanted to be cautious with trying a new flea,... worming treatment so we gave all 3 dogs ( 2 staffys and 1 border collie) only HALF the recommended dosage! Well the day after giving the nexgaurd the staffys got sick vomiting and diarrhoea, this happend for the first week one of them got better the other staffy did not continuously vomiting and diarrhoea to the point there was blood in his vomit and poo then he’s whole mouth and face swelled up this happend in a period of 3-4 days so he was off to the vet where he was diagnosed with severe colitis! After the vet for him he was on the mend amd the other two where already getting better as they had mild to no side effects! So they all started to feel better eating normal and drinking water and we are now here 3 weeks has passed from giving the nexgaurd treatment and our border collie started to feel unwell very lethargic, bloated stomach not eating or drinking and vomiting! We took him to the vet after 2-3 days becouse he wasn’t getting better! The vet said he has severe colitis he gave us Medications to help him amd told us he would be fine! Well the past week we thought he was doing better he was having his medications he was up and about playing outside with the staffys he still was abit lethargic and we had to hand feed him but it was an improvement we had high hopes he was gonna be fine and he was recovering!! Well we where wrong today he was fine all morning outside playing being he’s almost normal self until my mother in-law heard him heavily breathing almost gasping she walked into the kitchen where she found him laying on the ground almost lifeless gasping for air as she was on the phone to the emergency vet he lost his battle and passed away in her arms! He was literally fine one minute and then the next he was dying!!! These photos below are our beloved dog billy who lost his battle against nexgaurd tonight!! May I add all 3 dogs where perfectly healthy happy dogs before they where treated with nexgaurd spectra!! See more

22.01.2022 This isn't love. This is torture. Yet this is how most rabbits are kept. In small cages or hutches. What sort of life is this?

21.01.2022 ´` ´` & This Mother-Daughter duo are the perf...ect double act! Maisie is a very sweet, petite and super neat little girl who LOVES cuddles, kisses and giving affection to humans, cats and dogs! She’s very gentle and loves to be with you as much as possible. She loves to smooch and give lots of head boops. Little Lottie is also known as the panther pocket rocket in her foster home as she loves to play and explore everything! She’s also confident with people, cats and dogs but she loves to snuggle up with her Mama Maisie when she’s ready to power down for a nap. We would love to find them a home together where they can be loved forever and kept safe and sound indoors but we are open to applications for them to be adopted separately to the right family. Maisie is estimated to be around 1 year old (or less) and Lottie is 14 weeks. Both of these girls are vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Indoor only home. If you think these girls are the kittens for you, send me or the Ginger Ninja Rescue page a message describing what kind of home you can provide for them

20.01.2022 Pls never! And educate...

18.01.2022 Important read, pls educate others too.

18.01.2022 We trapped this beautiful, young girl and her tiny babies in Ottoway in the streets a few months ago but she was far too timid to put up for adoption so she ended up in our sanctuary. Little did we know there was pet potential in her which slowly came out week by week and today she enjoyed a nice full body and head massage in my lap. So now this sweet girl needs her forever home. Indoors only or with safely netted yard or safe enclosure. Pls share for her, every cat less in the sanctuary is good for everybody, especially for that cat. She needs an understanding, quiet, experienced home as she will still b a bit timid at first.

13.01.2022 Big day at the vet again today... Oscar tried to hide under the blanket, he was due for his steroid injection for his gingivitis, the same for timid Whitey. Super timid tabby girl who we trapped in Elizabeth 6 years ago needed to get knocked out to examine her as she isn’t eating. She will get her teeth removed tomorrow. Last but not least we picked up a baby pigeon on Salisbury highway who was sitting there waiting to get hit by a car or to slowly die there as she/he isn’t only a baby but also injured. At the moment she is in loving care before she/he might go to a bird rescue group.

11.01.2022 We don’t ask often for money donations but need to do so now: It’s not only that we are helping to desex and microchip a colony of approximately 30 cats and kittens (pics) but our vet bill stands already at $2000 after I have just paid $600 off. We are unable to make any more bookings of any kind (unless we are booking in a rescue cat for somebody else and that person pays) until the bill has decreased to at least $500. I’m using every fortnight $$ from my salary but this col...ony needs to be dealed with ASAP and quickly as more kittens can get born any time. In the next post we will show for whom and what the vet bill is standing at $2000 atm. Pls call our vet on 08/ 8287 0122, transfer to our LLP account or simply click on the donation button. Why the cat situation is worse than ever before despite the mandatory Desexing law since 2018... no idea... ANZ BSB 015350 Account 191360905 See more

06.01.2022 For all of you that were struck by how terribly good looking Bernie was! He is now available for adoption!

06.01.2022 This majestic little Lion is looking for his strictly indoors home. . Rescued from the streets. Tigger Approx 2 yo male Tigger is quite a playful/active cat who also enjoys to sleep near you or on your lap. He is quite smoochy for a cat who was trapped off the streets not long ago. ... He hasn’t been in foster care long but from what has been observed, he would be best suited to an only cat/pet home. Tigger has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Please contact Marta on 0402829442 for adoption enquiries

06.01.2022 Dolly has been our sanctuary resident for 10 years now. We rescued her from her death sentence in NSW. Cutest little girly like thing... not touchable but sweet. Thank you Travis Y. For sponsoring her for the last 2 years!

05.01.2022 Another quick Benji update. He won the lotto! He is so much loved by his adopters.

04.01.2022 Oh Mini!!! Every now and then she is getting her special minutes We rescued her and several others 6 years ago from a very bad hoarding situation in Enfield.

04.01.2022 The cats love the warmer temps!! And yes the sun isn’t perfect for Whitey but it is hard to find a home for a timid cat like him and we can’t have him locked in an enclosure for years. For new followers: every single cat and many more here were trapped by us in the streets. Undesexed, often injured, skinny, some in worse conditions than others. The fat cat in the 9th pic came from death row in NSW and the black/white cat a member of the public rescued from the fires in summer.

04.01.2022 She is desperate... rescue is hard enough in Australia but can you imagine it in Egypt?

03.01.2022 Young, handsome Morris/Mickey needs his forever home. The foster carer can’t keep him any longer for work reasons. He is desexed and chipped and looks for a safe, indoors, loving, spoiling home. Maybe with safe yard/enclosure. From his foster carer: He's a lovely cat that loves company. Loves being by a window and watching the outside. Still a bit of a scardy cat but will shake his paw for you for food! He also loves face rubs!

03.01.2022 RIP tiny Elizabeth We trapped her 2014 in the streets of Elizabeth. She always remained very timid and untouchable but cuddled up to other cats. She basically lived here freely in the netted yard, got food and water and had shelter from the cold. We thought she only needs her teeth removed today but unfortunately her Bloods showed that she is very sick, kidney failure was only one of her problems ... We’re hoping she had much better 6 years here than she would have had in the drains... she was so tiny and cute all we wanted was giving her love and TLC but she never allowed it. See more

03.01.2022 Today 4 pics of our biggest cat enclosure, the ‘Granny flat’ which got a big several hours clean up today. It has a hole cut into the wooden door so the cats can come and go as they’re pleased. Unfortunately it will not look like this for long...

01.01.2022 Beautiful, affectionate, friendly 5 years old Melly is still looking for a home. She has been in my kitchen for weeks now as she isn’t that keen on other cats. Who can give this stunning girl a loving, safe, caring forever home?
