25.01.2022 The Luddenham Progress Association is meeting with the State Planning Partnership to talk on plans specifically for Luddenham Village. If you have any questions regarding Luddenham Village please list them below.

24.01.2022 Just released - the Transport for NSW have just published their revised plan for the M12. At first sight simple impacts are noted, an extra 8 properties will be needed and a further 7 hectares of native vegetation will be lost. Not mentioned anywhere, the Outer Sydney Orbital is not mentioned nor shown anywhere on the map and it is clear if you view/overlay both projects Luddenham will be further reduced and much more property resumed. Looks more and more like we're being "blindsided" and the truth about our potential future covered up. See the plan here, click on "Map" to see the interactive map - https://v2.communityanalytics.com.au/rms/m12

22.01.2022 Here is the latest New West newsletter from Penrith CC. The section about the Airport Metro stations is interesting, the station for Luddenham is in the area designated for the Science Park - question is how will local residents get to any of the stations? https://www.penrithcity.nsw.gov.au//penrith-/new-west-news

19.01.2022 Happy 207th Birthday Luddenham. On the 30th of November 1813 John Blaxland was given a grant of 6,710 acres and called the area Luddenham after his hometown in England Luddenham. John was the eldest brother of the explorer Gregory Blaxland. Here are some pics from the Back to Luddenham Weekend in 2013.

19.01.2022 Adams Road is now Open

18.01.2022 Big Thanks to Tanya Davies MP in securing a grant to build a new toilet block for our hall. Tanya said "I am delighted to support their newest venture by providing a $82,500 grant as part of the 2020 Community Building Partnership that will build a brand new toilet block at the rear of the Luddenham Progress Hall. This new toilet block will be much safer and easier to access for children, adults and people with a disability than the original toilet block located away from the Hall". Once Again Thanks Tanya.

12.01.2022 HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE STREETS WITH NO NAME A call out to the community is officially under way to name some of the new roads in Luddenham. Member for Mulgoa Tanya Davies and Member for Camden Peter Sidgreaves said this is an exciting opportunity for the community to contribute to this major project and be part of its history. It is these roads that need naming, and who better placed to take on the naming rights than people from this community, Peter Sidgreaves said. The thr...ee new roads to receive new names, with the help of the community, are: The Northern Road between the Shell Service Station and Elizabeth Drive The current Elizabeth Drive at The Northern Road intersection which has become a cul-de-sac The new road, informally known as Gates Link Road. The NSW Geographical Names Board, in collaboration with Liverpool City Council and Penrith City Council, will consider all suggestions and be the final decision maker. Suggestions, including the reason for the suggestion, can be sent via email to [email protected] or mail to: Post: c/- Transport for NSW The Northern Road upgrade project c- Luddenham Post Office The Northern Road, Luddenham NSW 2745. 02.01.2022 Came across this article in the Guardian this morning which advises that 200+ families on the southern side of Western Sydney Action are planning action to ensure they are not left in "Indefinite Limbo" by the lack of recognition/action by the various Aerotropolis management organisations. I recommend Luddenham residents team up with those people taking action in south and take some form of class action to ensure we too get recognition, recognition that so far has been sadly lacking. Your Thoughts! The Article:- https://www.theguardian.com//western-sydney-airport-famili
