25.01.2022 Tonight, we assisted Wallacia Rural Fire Brigade, Fire and Rescue brigades from Regentville and St Marys, and Police with a truck which had collided with a concrete barrier at the intersection of The Northern Road and Elizabeth Drive. Fortunately, the truck driver was not seriously injured, and the road remained open throughout the incident. A reminder to take extra care on The Northern Road as traffic conditions change frequently due to roadworks.

06.01.2022 ***Luddenham Village Santa Run CANCELLED*** In light of the latest advice from NSW Health, the NSW Rural Fire Service has restricted brigades in Greater Sydney to emergency response and critical training/maintenance activities only. The powers that be will no longer permit Santa Runs, and so our much-loved Christmas Eve tradition cannot go ahead this year. We did not make this decision (it is a directive from higher up the chain-of-command) and as such it is beyond our control. We are most disappointed, and expect you will be too, but we hope you will appreciate the need to follow directives of government for the safety of our community.
