25.01.2022 I love popping into our classrooms and seeing the wonderful learning that is happening. When I visited 1/2A earlier in the week, they were exploring a lesson as part of our Bounce Back program. They discussed what it feels like when friends leave us and what it feels like to start at a new school or in a new class. As part of their learning they developed their own role plays. 21.01.2022 Our 3-6 students have loved participating in the Life Skills program this term with Miss Chantelle. Here is what 5/6S students thought of their sessions: We loved how we were able to use our creative skills and mental strategies to listen to what is happening around us and how to appreciate ourselves the way we are. During Life Skills, when we are doing poses, it makes us recognise how strong and balanced our bodies are. - Emma D and Sophia. We liked the breathing and rela...xation methods. We also liked the different poses that we learnt. - Charlie, Lachie and Aiden. We extremely enjoyed checking in with ourselves during our mindful minute. We also appreciated the amazing games. - Jordan and Ridon We think Life Skills was an amazing experience with our strength and balance poses and our relaxation minutes, it was overall a very delightful thing to remember we had Life Skills on a Thursday morning. - Tom and Manny We enjoyed having an experienced instructor helping us throughout this program. Miss Chantelle taught us how to reflect on our feelings, mind and how to overcome life problems. - Grace, Ella C, Mia and Emma W We enjoyed doing life skills/yoga with our classmates and a skillful teacher to teach us how to do some interesting poses and life skills to learn and reflect on our old self and how to make us a better person. - Billy and Eddie

12.01.2022 Our Stage 3 students culminated their Term 1 Science unit on Earth’s Structure by building an earthquake simulator with Lego WeDo 2. They built different buildings and coded the strength of the earthquake to determine what structures could withstand the force.
