Mark is one of our master barbers and has been an integral part of our team since dad was cutting some 10 years ago. 21.01.2022 I wanted to throw out an appreciation post for one of the pillars of our business! Our Damien Back has been a significant part of our team for near 15 years. He’s been manager of our Crestwood Plaza shop in Ashmore for the past year and a half and has had been doing a tremendous job. He’s always been there for us all, he works super hard and has a wealth of experience that only comes with time behind the chair. He has a fantastic client base. At a time when our industry is al...l fresh and modern and cool and of course we love being a part of that innovation and growth and leading our industry from the front; it’s then you look at your pillars of how you built your business and nurture it along and watch all your team grow. We wouldn’t have achieved what we have this year thus far without my entire team helping each other grow both professionally and personally. 09.01.2022 WE’RE COMING BACK!!! There is no way any of our clients would or could ever look like this! In saying that, I’m sure their mothers love em! On a serious note, we are so happy to share that we are opening up all 3 shops tomorrow - tues 7/4. We have over the last week watched the numbers so very closely. As of yesterday there are only 174 GCers with COVID-19 up 4 people from the day before. Although it’s sad, the devastation that’s affecting the world, if we are all vigilant w...ith our cleanliness and social distancing then we are all really doing so well at slowing the curve. My team and I are going crazy at home and knowing we are keeping best practise hygiene we are confident of getting back at it and looking after you, our VIP’s. So we will be easing back in with about half the team this week and hopefully stronger again next week. I’d like to personally thank you for your amazing support last week! I hated making that call but I feel we were all super freaked by the media that we were going to double numbers daily. We are in such close contact all day that we were concerned for the safety of all. As Aussies we are super tough and most of us are super smart and now all we have to do is to continue to respect each other... we have a dedicated wash basin for us all to use for our hands and spaced out our cutting stations and waiting areas. We have a hygiene routine we are adhering to between every client so as to protect you and us! 04.01.2022 The calm after the storm!!! LUIGI and SONS CHIRN PARK FORCED TO CLOSED TODAY SAT 14/12! Unfortunately after yesterday’s huge storm and massive dump of rain we’ve been forced to close our Chirn Park Barbershop today on one of our busiest Saturdays of the year!!!!! My shop and our awesome neighbours and mates @darkhorseinitiative had water coming thru the entire back end of the shop. Thru the roof, down the walls, across the floors! We got nailed! My team did an awesome job try...ing to minimise the damage and we’ll back at it for sure next Tuesday. What we’ve done is stack our other two barbershops so you can still come visit us and have no trouble getting in. Alternatively you can jump online and grab a spot for next week.
