25.01.2022 Australia has been good to me After four great years, its time for something new! In July I will be leaving Sydney and moving to Orange County, California to start work at our Hillsong Music Offices. It was definitely a hard decision not to go back to Miami after being away for 4 years, but when God calls you to something, the right answer is Im in. ... 21.01.2022 Got to be part of a cool project that my new friend @robs10kfriends check it out Posted @withregram @robs10kfriends 3276. Even one time, he got Red Bull to sponsor our youth ministry. Throughout his childhood in Miami, Luis Acosta used to attend church with his father because he saw it as something he was supposed to do. During his teenage years, though, he developed a deeper connection to his faith; largely due to leaders like his youth pastor, who once brought in a @r...edbull half pipe to create community amongst the youth ministry. Luis also attended the @freechapel @forwardcon towards the end of high school, sparking in him a desire to become a vessel for God. Though he started studying Business at @fiuinstagram, Luis dropped out during his first year, the day he learned about @hillsongcollege in Australia. He moved to Sydney the following school year, and there obtained his bachelors degree in Theology. Last August, Luis subsequently moved to Newport Beach, CA to work for @hillsong Music & Resources. Alongside his role of helping them with tasks like music licensing and merchandising, hes also started @menuzap, an app that creates an easy to use, visual menu for restaurants and cafes. Ultimately, however, Luis hopes to build upon his youth ministry experiences by someday creating an organization, similar to @bgca_clubs, where kids/young adults can feel comfortable going for help! 06.01.2022 Sometimes God will nudge you pretty hard on something, my suggestion is to listen and go for it. . Sometimes on a random Wednesday, youll just have to listen to your crazy friends who tell you to come along to a random event that youve never heard of. . Sometimes youll be the crazy friend that is the one inviting the others along. ... . I took this photo during a break from a session at an event we went to in February. 05.01.2022 Hillsong Youth Macquarie Three amazing years being a Youth Leader with this family. It wasnt always easy, we didnt always have everything we wanted, but it was always worth it.
