18.01.2022 Reflecting back over the past 12 months has made me realise how much we have achieved. From our trips to Adelaide, Sydney, America and Bali, where we saw two of our closest friends get married. It certainly was a year packed full of adventure. To the loss of loved ones who we cherish and will miss forever. It certainly was a year packed with crazy highs and devastating lows. Now we close out the decade and I look back at how much I have grown over the past ten ...years. I’ve had lots of triumphs and made plenty of mistakes that I have learnt from. From leaving Bunnings to taking my first steps into the academy seven years ago, as a scared trainee not knowing what to expect. A career that is incredibly rewarding and still excites me to this day. I found the love of my life and we have travelled all over the world together. I have built some lifetime friends through kyokushin, where I competed in tournaments, trained with some of our countries best fighters and graded to shodan (black belt). We built our first two houses together, one of which is our first rental property. I was introduced to the Geelong Lifestyle Centre, where I was taught the value of personal development, a concept that has changed my life. Now the challenge is set to make the next decade even bigger. Bring on 2020.
