You can shop at Coles with 100 other people, but the Premier thinks its unsafe for one person to inspect a property. Personally i have a number of clients who have purchased and now they can not sell their home so they need to get costly bridging finance and others who have sold and need to settle in a month but cant purchase another home so we are having to source short term rentals for them (w...hich is difficult). On behalf of my clients and all those in this position, Mr Andrews i urge you to reconsider allowing one on one private appointments again. The simple solution would be for the government to supply agents with a form (stat dec style) that requires a purchaser to fill in all their details and sign off to say it's for a principal place of residence NOT a investment property.
