03.01.2022 I had a great catch up with a long term client today regarding his home insurance. He had gone online and obtained some home insurance quotes from AAMI and Youi. Our original renewal price was $1,800. The AAMI and Youi pricing was $900. He asked me to explain the huge difference in price. I explained that our cover was top of the range and pointed out several key points straight away. ... After a good discussion he advised that the many key benefits we had in our policy were not important to him and he would prefer a lesser level of cover. I made the adjustments and removed several of our benefits and our pricing reduced to $800. $100 better than AAMI and Youi. Before you make any important changes with your insurances discuss it with a professional.
