02.01.2022 I promised myself I’d never go on a music reality TV show - scared of being misrepresented or having my brand tarnished, I thought I’d take my chances and go the independent route. . In 2018 with the help of my dear friend @isaacbarter I released my debut album ‘Revivalist’ with a subsequent string of single releases, it was a massive effort that to this day I’m super proud of, but it didn’t really go anywhere. With no publicist or promotional wherewithal the live show suffe...red a similar fate. . By June 2019 I felt tired, I didn’t feel entitled to success, but I had hoped for it.. When Steven Hogarty and his family happened upon a very disheveled version of myself playing a local gig, they decided to manage me and insisted I must audition for the voice! At this stage I thought - heck, why not!? . It’s now Wednesday, and looking back on my battle with the very handsome and powerful @timothyjamesbowen (who I’m very grateful to call my friend) I feel a great swell of gratitude to have been given this opportunity. I feel revitalised and ready for my next chapter. . Thank you @mrjeebs @guysebastian and the entire production team @thevoiceau for looking after me, I had a terrific time! Regards also to my fellow contestants, it was wonderful to meet you all. Must have been love, but it’s over now, must have been good, but I lost it somehow thanks Tim.. Until next time
