23.01.2022 Good morrrrning Melbourne! Webb Docks, 6am on Cup Day.

19.01.2022 Crystal Brook Falls has been a spot I’ve wanted to visit for so long. My first weekend away after lockdown was at Mt Buffalo, staying in Bright. Up at 4am to get here by 5:30am for sunrise, I spent about an hour capturing the scene as the light moved and changed. This is such a gorgeous spot, and so easy to reach by car on the way to the Mt Buffalo Chalet. This is a combination of a number of shots over that time, with a little cloud help from Luminar.

18.01.2022 An old salt encrusted fence post sticking out of the last remaining pool of water on the dry salt lake bed of Lake Tyrrell. There was quite a gusty wind, so the usual mirror like surface was covered in ripples catching the sun like jewels. After the next few days of thunderstorms I’d love to see how much water is there next week!

17.01.2022 SALE!!! Everything in my Redbubble store is 20-60% off until 15th October. Use the link below to go to my store front, and use the code 'FALLDEALS'. 16.01.2022 A Melbourne morning - looking forward to restrictions easing in 2 weeks!!

14.01.2022 Elegance in wood, glass and concrete.

14.01.2022 You can make it.

13.01.2022 These aren’t the droids you are looking for. Old machinery on the dry bed of salt Lake Tyrrell.

08.01.2022 After months at home in Melbourne, I booked my first weekend away at Mt Buffalo. This is one of my favourite spots in Victoria, and I did so much hiking and exploring new spots that I could barely stand by the end!! Stay tuned for some incredible images on the way On my last night it was overcast and a bit rainy but I chanced sunset at the Horn. And my lord was I glad that I did! Bumped into to other awesome photogs @rhyscantrillphotography and @hanniejane94 (Hannah is in this shot).

08.01.2022 An old grader forgotten and rusty in the middle of Lake Tyrrell. When the lake is full it’s only a foot deep and creates a perfect mirrored surface. Today it was dry, with pink salt stretching as far as the eye can see in all directions. A gorgeous sunset gave the sky a perfect pink in balance. To get here, it’s a 3km hike across the lake, OR you can arrange a tour with @sealaketyrrelltours.

04.01.2022 On this visit to Mt Buffalo I hiked around 20km on my second day. Quite an effort after being locked down for so long. I explored the trails from the Cresta carpark, through boulder strewn plains between the Horn and the Hump. My absolute favourite was the Back Wall hike, appx 4 hours return. The change in landscape and scenery is incredible. From boulders to bogs to meadows to charred bushfire landscapes. At the end your reward is this fabulous view to the back of the Horn.

04.01.2022 A still St Kilda morning. Social distancing was more like this than the news reports from last night!

02.01.2022 This past Tuesday I had the opportunity, after months of lockdown and a 5km travel limit, to visit the beautiful city of Melbourne lit up in purple to support TAMS. The Australasian Mastocytosis Society. Tuesday was the third annual International Mastocytosis and Mast Cell Diseases Awareness Day, and TAMS launched their first annual #SpotOurSpots campaign. TAMS partnered with landmarks and venues across Australia lit up purple, to raise awareness of Mastocytosis and Mast Ce...ll Diseases - a broad family of diseases that can be life threatening and very often severely debilitating. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the need for more accurate diagnostics, better treatments, and further investments in research as well as build hope for mast cell disease patients all over Australia in dreaming for a brighter, healthier future. #SpotOurSpots #mmcdawarenessday #mastocytosis #MastCellDiseases #MastCellActivationSyndrome
