19.01.2022 Far out I miss this island. For most it was one day of mayhem, for me it was at least 3 weeks of camping, laughing, early starts and late finishes, working on various stages, painting, building, driving around in a golf buggy taking photos, catching up with the crew. This photo was taken from a helicopter with no doors, telling the pilot where I wanted to take photos from. Some people read a books, some go for a drive, my release is music and raving with like minded people. I remember being chased by police for "trespassing", we climbed down a plank of wood from the second level to get away. 05.01.2022 So another year passes and another selfie video has been made. I just want to thank everyone for being part of my year and making it unforgettable. This year I have learnt to love my self and found out who my real friends are. With their support I have really stuck my feet in the ground... The scene in Sydney has been through a lot this year but there is so much passion and love behind it all nothing will ever stop the music. 05.01.2022 A dedication to ten years of Defqon.1 As the ten year anniversary of Defqon 1 has just passed I have decided to compile a gallery of images to showcase all the hard work one small team of people have put towards this festival. For months leading into the festival we would paint, source materials, cut wood, design and brain storm ideas to make things the best they could be... The focus of these images are from 2009 - 2016 as of from 2017 our team moved onto to new projects These days building and staying at camp for two weeks while we built defqon could easily be the most memorable times of my life. The amount of laughter and bonding with our team of production staff, decor, machine operators and everyone involved was something we would all look forward to the entire year. The early starts and late finishes all worth the effort to see the end results come together I hope you enjoy the images as not many people would have the opportunity to have seen them before, 80% of them are from behind the scenes and have never been made public. I consider myself very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Australia's best photographing these events and decided I would go through and create something to give back. It's about 6am after the 2nd night at defqon1 NL and I have a Frisbee tucked under my shirt for some reason, @dillytek and myself are on some sort of mission and we are making our way back to somewhere.
