24.01.2022 In todays society we are constantly surrounded by distractions. We have pride in telling everyone just how 'busy' we are. But what I'm starting to learn is... You can do anything but you can't do everything Instead of doing more Do less But make sure the thing that you are doing is the thing that actually counts So often we like to take on the 10 easy tasks that aren't going to get us any closer to where we want to be So ask yourself this question What is the ONE THING that I can do today that will make everything else easier or unnecessary? and follow through on that relentlessly instead of getting caught up in the noise What's your one thing for today??

22.01.2022 If you don't know where you want to be in 5 years... Then you are already there. So many of us buy into the 'idea' that one day we'll get our shit together,... One day some good luck will come our way, One day we'll have all our ducks in a row, But the truth is... No-one is coming to save you, No-one is coming to save me, Whatever goals you have, Whatever life you want to create, You first have to know where you are going otherwise how are you going to put the small daily actions in place in order to get you there? For most a 5 year plan is terrifying, For others its some stupid thing they had to do at a 'team building exercise' For very few, They are the guideposts to creating a life that they want to live. Helping to carve out the basic day to day tasks that can actually make it a reality. A timeline for tracking progress and re-directing. Most will over estimate what they can achieve in 12 months and under estimate what they can achieve in 5 years. Do you know where you are headed? Or are you already there??

20.01.2022 Failure. We all seem to fear it so much, but why? In most cases its our perception of what failure is that holds us back.... Anyone who ever got good at anything did so by failing many many times. I could go into the the famous quotes from Eddison, J.K Rowling, Howard Schultz, Henry Ford, Steven Spielberg and Michael Jordan, but you're hopefully familiar with them all (if not google that shit). But instead today I ask you to think about one perceived failure. What was something in your life where at the time you thought it was a massive failure, but looking back now realise it was it was only a learning process or a re-direction. When you can change your perspective from failure being the end of the world, to failure being a requirement in any journey then you take your power back.

18.01.2022 Repetition, Repetition, Repetition, Anyone who ever got good at anything didnt accidentally stumble into it. They got better at it over time with Intentional Practice.... Many think that weight loss is just about discipline and will power and that they dont have enough of it in order to succeed. That they like food too much and that anyone who is in better shape then them must not be enjoying life as much as they are. While in some cases this might just be true, depending on the method for weight loss, it just isnt true for everyone everytime. What is true is that there are certain skillsets that you will have to practice in order to achieve and maintain your goals long term. What skillsets you ask? Well I believe the most important skillsets you should be focusing your time and energy onto are 1. Learning to track your Nutrition Consistently and Accurately 2. Learning to be effective with your time 3. Learning to develop a growth mindset 4. Learning to develop Self Efficacy 5. Learning to be honest with yourself Notice how each one says 'Learning' before it? Well this means that we arent born with these skills and many will go their entire lives without ever getting good at any of them. How do you improve these skills? Repetition, Repetition Repetition Comment below. Out of those 5 skillsets, Which one are you best at? Which one do you struggle with most? Which skill do you think I left out that is also Important??

17.01.2022 6 years ago, At least I’m consistent. #facts

14.01.2022 We’ve all seen it... But this just felt relevant today... Success, whatever that looks like for you in your current endeavours is never a linear progression.... Life happens, We all go through stages of quick and slow progression, We all go through stages of regressing, We all miss a day here and there, We are human, What’s Important however is that we don’t miss twice. What’s important is that we learn when we miss, What’s important is that we put something physically into place to help us get that little bit further next time. You can’t expect a different result from doing the same thing over and over again. But if you are committed to finding a way, If you are committed to using your brain, If you are committed to going against the status quo Then you can get there You just have to be ok with non - linear progression and the best way to do that... Is by celebrating the behaviour not the result Once you know the behaviours that will get you there and focus all your time and energy on being consistent with those Then the result is just a by product of your efforts over time

10.01.2022 Have you tried Keto Before? What was your experience??

08.01.2022 Lets talk about 6 week challenges (4 week, 12 week, 8 week, same same) Are they a way to lose weight? Yes,... Can they be used effectively to get ready for a certain event in time? e.g a wedding, photoshoot, Holiday etc (How dare i add this one in there) Yeah sure, Would I recommend them for 99% of the population that is trying to lose weight? No, definitely not Why? Because these short term transformation challenges involve radical changes to your lifestyle, routine and eating habits. Changes that are so far away from what you are normally doing that they just aren't sustainable. So why is this a problem? Well 9/10 you're setting yourself up for failure. Because what happens after the challenge is finished? Well you go back to what you were doing before then. Now if what you were doing before then was, exercising regularly, eating pretty well and maintaining a body that helped you to be confident and proud of your daily actions then I don't see challenges as an issue. Go for it However if you are like most who start one of these short term transformation challenges this is not you. You're probably starting it because you want quick results and think that changing every single thing you do in some crazy attempt to change 10 years of bad habits over night is a good idea. Its not, ever. I Guarantee it will lead to overwhelm, frustration and ultimately ending up in the same spot or worse but with a worse relationship with yourself or with food then when you started. If you want sustainable long term results, you have to start playing the long game. You have to start celebrating the daily wins. You have to take 100% ownership and come to terms with this always has, and always will be 100% within your control You have to trust the process and make sure you are actually spending your time and energy on the things that actually matter most. Have you ever Nailed a challenge only to fall off again? Or what's your experience?

07.01.2022 So 2021 is here, I hope you all had a great Christmas and New years and are ready to get back into it. If you stayed pretty well on track over the Break - Well Done... If you totally de-railed, like most, then don't stress, Acknowledge that you enjoyed yourself, Were free of restriction, And now its time to knuckle down. However the most important thing is to start where you are at, Now. Don't guilt yourself with everything you didn't achieve last year and set some outrageous routine / goals that you'll fail in a few days only to tell yourself the story of I'll start again on Monday'. The key to achieving any goal is first getting clear on what they are, why they are important to you, and then working out the small repeatable, daily behaviours that will get you there, checking in with yourself regularly to see if the actions you are taking are getting you closer. PLAN, ACT, REFLECT, REPEAT I'm excited for 2021, but the truth is its just another day, Organise it in your brain however you need to, to get shit done, But don't get plagued by perfectionism Imperfect action will always get a better result then Perfect Inaction 2021 lets do this

02.01.2022 So often we overlook the 1% because it doesn't seem relevant or important at the time. If you improved 1% each day over the space of year the compound interest on that 1% will be Life changing. Stop trying to change the world overnight and work on yourself.... Stop focusing solely on the destination. Stop focusing solely on the goal. Look further up the chain Look at the systems and routines Start focusing on the small daily behaviours that will actually get you there. Habits are the key to long term, SUSTAINABLE CHANGE
